Google, in its infinite wisdom, cannot tell me how to clean this ketchup stain in my sandals.

And I hate ketchup, and don't want my feet smelling like it :<

What kind of sandals, exactly?

I have no idea anymore... the soles themselves are made of some kind of sturdy plastic-ish material, which will be easy enough to wash off (as Acrio suggested, soap). But, the straps that have the velcro on them and so on are made of a more leathery kind of material, which aren't so easy to wash. As far as I know, they'll be permanently ketchup-stained. :

The other two things that got ketchup on them are easy enough, though: pants wash in the laundry, and my foot will wash in the shower. Or some sort of foot bath thing, but I lack that. All have been wiped down with napkins, which gets most of the mess away but leaves stains behind, of course, and the sandal's plastic-ish sole I've already applied a moist towel to (albeit it still felt sticky all throughout the rest of the day).

Well obviously, this is a lesson to never eat off of your sandals.

Boil them? o_0

Well, at least it's more help than I'd get from, say, /b/.

Me: "Hey /b/, my sandals got ketchup all over them. How do I get the stains out...?"

can't you just stick them in a pillow case, knot the case and wash them in a washing machine with decent washing powder/vanish/CILIT BANG, BANG AND THE STAINS ARE GONE!
