*Sigh* I might as well tell this story now before I decide to keep it a secret to the grave.

This is my story,~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~the story of:
EPIC FAILURE
*told with extensive use of emoticons
Alright, this whole chain of events started with my youngest sister, Xophye's (Not a typo, her name is really spelt like that), sixth birthday. As one of her presents, we promised to take her to Disney World (we live in Florida). Well, about four hours into our time there, we decide to get in line for "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad," some odd roller coaster in the shape of a steam engine. Well, near the end of our wait in line, I notice some pretty good looking girl in line, two rows away from us. I start eying her a bit and am about to ask her for her number or email or something until something hits me. A revelation that fizzled my mind at the moment and still is right now. I had NO idea how old she was! See, there is a major problem with checking out girls while in high school (I'ma junior) as opposed to doing with while in middle school (or out of high school for that matter, since there are other factors that could help). Height ceases to be a factor when determining someone's age! Now, in a normal school environment, that wouldn't be a problem, since telling how old someone is is as easy as finding out their grade. There in no such reference in a real world situation. She was pretty short, only about as tall as my sister Rachel, who is in 8th grade. Well, I started to look around to see who she was with, and it seemed like she was with her mother and older(?) brother. Well, the mom was as short as she was, so I thought, "Okay, short family, I'm cool," but then I saw her brother. This guy was a behemoth, at least half a foot taller than I am. My mind put up a few red flags up at this point. I then looked at what she was wearing. To me, she definitely seemed like she was at least a sophmore with her... odd get up. One of those scene-kid type silk print t-shirts, red denim (:O) hotpants (My main reason for thinking she was older), some red Chucks, and calf socks that must've spawned from the depths of a Hot Topic store room. Never seen anyone freshman or younger wear anything like that, lest of all in the presence of their mother. Well, she still looked pretty good despite this disaster, but I decided it would be best to forget about it. Now, that wouldn't have been a problem if (1) I could have stopped looking at her, and (2) if she didn't look me right in the *#&$%@ eyes right after I had come to that conclusion. Her eyes were amazing, like light gray, and she kept doing it, too. Now, I wasn't sure if that meant she was really the right age, or she just was into older guys. Needless to say, that was the LONGEST wait for a ride I have ever had to go through. EVER!
Now I wonder... should I have gone for it anyway.
