No offense to the ladies (and some men) that loved them some ponies growing up, but god DAMN G1 ponies were straight up DO NOT WANT. I can fully appreciate what Sam meant when she said that she wished the new generation of ponies were the ones she grew up with... although she probably wasn't talking about character design, I just choose to interpret it that way.
