For those who don't have an account, formspring.me is a website which has you post questions to your friends and they will answer them. Basically a friendly Q&A thing. It can be used for good, evil or randomness. Mostly randomness.

A while ago there was a lot of heat about the creators planning to release all anonymous data on the site as an April Fool's gag, but I think that news story itself may have been the gag *shrugs* who knows or cares?

Anywho. For those who have accounts, post the link in this thread and let your fellow MoFoer answer a few random, crazy or important questions.

Hey, MattHayter? You out there? You e-mail me questions all the time, this is a good tool for you. Utilize it

Mine is:

I'll start devising questions for the rest of you. *Cackles*

Didn't expect to be mentioned at all when I clicked on this topic. o.o

It's actually not that much I sent; just 2 or 3 questions over the last couple weeks, and before that I don't think I've been emailing Craig at all since... last summer at least.

By the way Craig, if you're going to be making reference to emails I've been sending, could you do so by email or PM rather than mentioning them directly on the board itself? <.<

And I didn't register for it, but I sent something anyway. I'm guessing it's going to come up as "anonymous" or something. o.o

Craig, do I get points for getting the reference?

Edit: Just made one, this should be the link

I'm sorry I mentioned that you and I talk? Also, e-mails before summer totally count in my "Matt likes to ask questions" summary. It's not a bad thing and not an insult, it's an observation. And judging from my wife's inbox, a true one.

Honestly did not think you'd be so defensive to the idea of me mentioning that you ask questions.

Don't you mean "from last summer"?

Also, the concern isn't that you mention that I ask questions; I obviously do that on the board too. The concern is that you take something from a more private communication like email, and reference it on a more public communication like a message board, when a PM or email would've done just fine for letting me know about this. Or was the point specifically to mention it to others? And if so, why?

It's how I interact. You may notice my tone was not "HEY EVERYONE! MATT E-MAILS ME!" but "Hey, Matt. You e-mail me this stuff, this would be a good site for you."

The difference in tone is that I am acting familiar and friendly.

Matt, all that was said was "oh hey Matt emails me sometimes". He never mentioned the details regarding what was said or not. That's like being offended because someone mentioned they gave me a phone call ffs.

Edit: I get no bonus points? ;_;

I've been gone for exactly six months, actually. Made it a priority to stay as far away from this place as I possibly could. Alas, it's all Craig can talk about sometimes and I feel I must go back to understand just what the heck he's talking about. **sighs wistfully**

Still though, something just seems a bit off about you referencing emails on the board; if it was just to say it to me rather than to everyone else, why didn't you use something like PM?

It's not off at all. I am a social creature, who is very open. I do not like confining my interactions to private. If I am making a topic and suspect someone will read it, I will slip one liners in to them. I do this ALL THE TIME and have done it consistantly for years on Rush forums, Sonic forums, anime forums, specific websites and especially my livejournal which is the biggest offender.

I do not very much wish to change the style I have been posting in for upwards of ten years simply because you don't like acknowledging we speak in private. Therefore, if it bothers you, either cease contacting me or specifically label each correspondance you send to me with a "this is private" notice, so I can infer that you do not wish to let the world know.

Right now, I am just flabbergasted that you give this much of a crap about what basically amounts to as "Hey, Matt, you'd enjoy this thread, I've noticed you enjoy asking questions, you have e-mailed them in the past after all"

Kindly drop the subject and stop trying to argue a dead point. I will not stop and I will not apologize. You are being irrational.

Speaking of malignant narcissism, Craig, you hear the two new Rush songs? They're killer.

I've heard good things about the songs but have yet to do so. I refuse to pay for songs online (and recieve inferior bitrate as well) and much prefer tangible media. If I can find a youtube video of those songs though, I'd listen. And yes, I'm one of those people.

I bought both songs (twice, so I could send them to a friend) and I liked them a lot. BU2B is my fave of the duo. It'll take a while to grow on me, the general feedback from the community is that there is no real melody to the lyrics, which I blame Neil for. His lyrics must be harder and harder to sing every album. He just keeps cramming words into sentances and seeing how many Geddy can manage to make stick.

But bass and drums, heck even Alex's guitar. Top notch.

I wouldn't be against purchasing a single cd, at least I have something tangible to collect. It just seems silly to me to purchase an mp3 that has worse quality than a cd would. But I wouldn't refuse Craig's offer either >.>
