Who would win in an battle between Sonic the Hedgehog and the Avatar? (from the Nickelodeon show ) To be clear. By the 'Avatar' I don't necessarily mean Aang. Since the Avatar is actually reincarnated over and over you cant count 'Aang' or 'Roku' or 'Kyoshi' as seperate beings. So to put it simpler. Sonic against the complete strength of the Avatar.
Sonic can go Super. Avatar can go into the "Avatar state"
The only video I can find that very briefly demonstrates avatar power. But not the "Avatar State"
Blue boy is good and all, but seriously, he's got nothing on somebody who can control all the elements. T'would be like playing Labrynth, Marble, Diamond Dust (More of a handling fluffer than any Ice Cap,) Hill top, and man others all at once. Also, no robots.
Sorry, I only go for these crossover battles when they're truly absurd. Something like...uh...Ghandi vs. Megatron.

Extra Lives. 
Unless the Avatar's current vessel had only mastered one element or was incompetent, Sonic could be completely outclassed by just the Vessel's power. Fire and earth bending both present strong projectiles that Sonic would need his full speed to consistently dodge. Water and Earth can both be utilized to alter the terrain to slow Sonic down. All four elements could easily be used for trapping strategy.
Super Sonic is a completely different beast. Even the most powerful vessels would be hard press to match Super Sonic's raw strength and speed, making the Avatar State a nessecity. In the Avatar State, the vessel is capable of channelling power the same scale as the most powerful natural diasters. Even with Chaos Control, I think the Avatar State would have no trouble reducing Super Sonic to shreds.
