Don't know if this would be better for EVC, but is anyone else with Firefox 3 having really weird problems when scrolling up and down in the SPA and all the topics here? Something with the theme maybe? It was fine for me before I upgraded though...

I'm having some problems, too, but only in the picture-heavy topics. And when my computer is doing too much stuff at once.

Does it also do it with MFC, EVC, South Island?

I am running FF3 Final on Kubuntu 8.04 KDE4 Remix with smooth scrolling. Running the Windows version of FF3 under Wine does produce image jumping and stuttering when scrolling.

Interpret my test results as you see fit.

Huh. It does. I guess it just wasn't as distracting as it is in here.

I'm also noticing this. My 64-bit Vista and my Ubuntu 8.04 computers with Firefox 3 both have scrolling issues, though it's more prominent in the latter (most likely due to the fact that it's extremely old and inferior compared to the former rather than being an OS issue.). Additional images heighten the problem.

My laptop, running FF2 and 32-bit Vista and with similar specs to my x64 computer (aside from graphics) runs everything smoothly.

I've added a "Non Translucent" link on the bottom for most of the forums with translucency. Hopefully this will help.

I'm having no problems here under XP Pro x64. Then again, I'd be severely disappointed to find my 8-series GeForce having trouble with a bit of transparency on a website (crappy free Linux drivers not with standing, but I fixed that problem ages ago).
