But thihs SPA is a disgrace. It is no longer for silly insanity and hilarity or just plain stupidity. Long gone are the hilarious Pillow Fortress thread, the Sailorness stuff and that amazing thread back when Vec removed the 1 minute limit and everyone just went crazy for a day. That was the SPA of my childhood.
Then it became the "Post a new thread with Youtube video/random 4chan image/meme" section, where there was very little to reply to, so threads were sunk within hours due to lack of participation, and through that mentality, it stopped being post a new thread and just "reply with" forum.
Ignoring the one-uping which made the SPA look like GT and Shadow Hog were skating about the forum tagging threads Jet Set Radio style, with Rishi's complete dimwittery and lack of anything useful, amusing or worthwhile to say, this place has simply become the "Don't bother reading what anyone else types and reply with anything you damn please" forum.
I mean, look at any of the threads and see how many have any coherant link to the original post, sparring the original poster trying to reconnect it to the original idea. Even when it does happen, it's usually just an image.
Thusly, I petition to put the "Spam Protection Agency" out of it's misery and make it now "Discussion Prevention Agency" or something similar.

: The outbreak of the Sailorness Virus originated in the SPA! Although this forum had to be segregated, the virus continued to spread. What resulted was an unbelievable series of wacky misadventures that become one of the most historic parts of the forum's mythology! If you wish to attack the SPA, you have to be more specific than giving blanket condemnations of closing off the forum to outside influence.
