Oh, would you look at that. A silly movie made by our friends and starring Trish and I. This can't end well
This is terrible but this is awesome. XD Nagatrish ftw
Reminds me of when I saw videos from Comic-con last summer. What are these kinds of conventions like, anyway? They sort of remind me of high-school halloweens as well (groups of people gathered up while dressed up in fantasy-related costumes) except obviously larger-scale.
Also, are those videos supposed to be based on a specific Haruhi episode, or just interpretations of Haruhi characters applied to how they would act at a convention?
It's a fanfic! =0
The best part is that this was all completely unplanned and unscripted, starting out as a series of silly videos in the style before getting to the OMGPLOT of Part 2. To be honest, it really IS just a collection of silly videos, but my goodness. Alexis (Haruhi) did a phenomenal job of editing the freaking thing to a watchable point. Like, I seriously thought she was just gonna throw the videos in sequence and put it online.
But no! She couldn't just leave it there! She made the freaking intro and outro (which are the BEST PARTS of this, bar none) and cut out the particularly stupid parts. Of course, there was actually a lot more plot than Part 2 had to offer, but the camera's microphone could only capture so much sound, and a lot of the voices got lost. Like, there was a reason we didn't have a Koizumi, Haruhi outright admitted the convention was all normal people and that it was okay, etc.
Of course, "best parts" always have "worst parts". And the worst part is that we're already planning the sequel for next year: "THE WONDERLAND OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA".

Why do I get the feeling she fell asleep at her computer and found this fully edited when she awoke? =P
it was really fun to watch, i enjoed it, my best part was "iron a tent" XD i also liked how you all stayed in character, thanks for sharing. i like seeing cosplays and the con looked very fun just like the one kayla, ultra and hyper went to.
