This is a videoclip of Sailormoon the Japanese animated T.V. show. Which is the T.V. show opening in English. So what are your feelings towards this Sailor Moon Japanese-animatedT.V. show, and Sailor Moon stuff? Just out of curiousity that's what I want to know from you people.

I watched quite a bit of it with my aunt (she was probably 17) at my grandpa's house, maybe eight years ago. I seem to remember it was pretty awesome. The episode where this giant tree has these two servants who ran off and drained the souls of children to feed it sticks out in my mind. Then they got all epiphanized and saw that was bad and the tree was supposed to be powered with love or something. I liked it. Dunno If I'd like it now.

I remember watching it when it first came on Toonami. Probably my first exposure to anime alongside the original Funimation dub of Dragonball Z.

Now I can't get that theme song out of my head. >_>;

But yeah, I liked it.

I myself remember having seen alot of Sailor Moon episodes, on Cartoon Network's Toonami, and I enjoyed Sailor Moon alot, so I'm planning on gettingevery single onethe Sailor Moon Movies (If there are any) and watching every single episode, (hopefully by owning them on DVD in the future). This music videoclip in this post itself, is a Sailormoon Dance mix music video that I've enjoyed alot called Candyman, so for anybody who wants to feel free to enjoy. This is a videoclip that I've found online on google search, and isn't a videoclip that I've made, but do enjoy.

If there are two things that almost every person that even REMOTELY likes anime has seen, those two things are Akira and Sailor Moon. They seem to be staples. An anime fan that hasn't seen them is like a Trekkie who doesn't know what "redshirt" refers too. Or a Starwars fan thats never owned a plastic lightsaber.

Or an intelligent person that actually voted for Bush... *shot*

I also enjoyed this Sailor Moon video that I've found online, recently, that's got the every single bit of animation in this video perfectly fitting with the song.

Sailor Moon is the series that introduced me to the mahou shoujo genre of anime, and despite it not having aged as well as some of its contemporariness, it remains among my favorites.

It is a shame that the first four seasons never got a decent English dub and the fifth was never even dubbed. It is also a shame that the English version of the manga has been out of print for a few years now.

Thanks for the information Jeffery Mewtamer, although the information that you've said about the 5th season not being dubbed, and the English version of the Manga being out of print is too frustrating, though. Thanks for the input though Jeff, that was greatly appreciated.

I first caught Sailor Moon on FOX Kids during the mid 90's and found myself enjoying it. Didn't bother to follow up on it or search down the Japanese version until about 2002ish.

I currently have only seen all of the original season and of R. I watched Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, too, which in some ways is a superior show to the anime.

What amuses me most about the Sailor Moon phenomenom is that the creator is so upset with what foreign countries (UK ruined it MORE than US, believe it or not) did with the show that she pulled all of the rights, thusly it is more or less impossible to buy official licensed Sailor Moon stuff anywhere outside of Eastern Asia.

A shame, I guess, but anything that stops Saban from trying to live action it or have a dub of PGSM.

Think that the fad is more or less over, now, though. So besides downloading the manga/anime/TVshow/musical, there's nothing much left for Moon fans to do.

This is a Sailor Moon Music Video clip that I've seen, called My Only Love , which has every single thing shown in the whole entire music video clip look completely fitting with the song. This is a videoclip that I've definitely enjoyed.

What do you mean by DERKA DERKA! Rishi?

Here's the 2nd opening for Sailor Moon Super S. What I want to Z, is Sailor Moon stuff being like DBZ, when it comes to power levels and physical violence, but while having everything else about being Sailor Moon stuff being there. I want to see Sailor Moon stuff using Martial Arts violence, but by being pretty playful girly-like in all the ways that it's still. What are your thoughts and feelings on this people?

Here goes a different version of the English opening to Sailor Moon, than my first posted videoclip showed in this thread. As for the "It's the SPA. He needs no reason." I know, it's just that I'm curious that's all.

That's exactly what I like about the SPA Rishi, especially since this can liven up the conversation in threads quite a bit because of this, before going back on topic in the threads that is. Which is precisely something that adds a whole lot more potential to a thread, becoming big and having more than just a few pages, and having lots of posts as well. So with all this said, thank goodness for the SPA.

What I want to know is what new elements that doesn't exist in the Sailormoon T.V. show and/or movie stuff do people want added, how people want and think Sailormoon T.V. show and/or movie stuff can improve, and what people would want to have exist that's about Sailormoon, but doesn't exist yet, (that may and/or may not exist later on.). That's what I want to know. So feel free to liven up the discussion in here people.

A vid showing all of Sailor Moon'stransformations. The video quality is kind of muggy. I can't find a better looking one...
The third transformation sequence was always my favorite because of the music. Spin Spin Spin! And I think that was the first transformation where the american dub actually kept the original background music instead of substituting their own.

Thanks D B Vulpix, this is a videoclip, of what I believe to be every single one of the adult female Sailors from the T.V. show Sailormoon (or atleast for what's been shown for a limited amount of time) transforming. Anymore posts being madehere in this topic/thread that's not already here in this topic/threadis greatly appreciated.

WHERE'S COOKI WHEN YOU REALLY NEED HER?

Yea, sure, two days since the last post is considered late by SPA standards but I believe this topic can be saved!

Who's COOKI? As far as this topic being saved though, this topic being saved would greatly be appreciated by me. Since I was hoping that this topic, would be one of those topics filled with alot of pages of discussion due to discussing Sailor Moon stuff. I'm not actually sure that will happen though. So I'll just have to wait around and see then.

This is a videoclip that I found of one of the Sailors, that I didn't know to be a Sailor until recently, called Sailor Pluto. This is a video of Sailor Pluto transforming, and attacking. As far as for this Cookirini, that you've spoken of Ultra Sonic 007, I'm hoping that this Cookirini, shows up, to liven up this topic/thread up a bit more, because that would greatly be appreciated by me.
