I decided not to ban too soon, out of wondering why nobody else did, and curiosity about how he would behave. He proceeded to post useless single lines, bump for no reason, and troll the movie topic so I guess he can have another chance in 2 million years. 
For what it's worth, Psx - I don't think without this thread that we would have seen Notstair banned for another 2 million years, and Vec use a toothy smiley.
And even if we could, it just wouldn't be the same.

I was making a reference to the novel Animal Farm, which uses animals to explain the Russian Revolution. The pig in the novel is Joseph Stalin, I was making a joke about the MoFo being like Communist Russia.
Srol made a reference to the Moon episode of Futurama where the moon becomes a big tourist attraction and theme park type place. The gopher part is a song on one of the rides, making fun of "It's a Small World" at Disney park. As for their connection, they don't really have one.
The lack of connection is exactly what makes it a "new age joke". Like a museum of modern art. You sit and ponder, but at the end of the day you still have no damn clue what you were looking at.
I also didn't realize how funny the term "New Age Joke" was considering Animal Farm was written in the 40s and that Futruama episode is at least a decade old.
"New Age Jokes" embrace the quality of no-context or RANDOM as the kids say
I'd vote no myself. Spam is generally popular at the moment it's posted, and rarely happens again. There have been a couple of Sailorness threads, or threads on subjects like this current BK theme (which has been used before, and that's when the repetition comes in), but aside from that, most threads just don't last long enough to be really important to the modern, ever-present 'now' that we live in.
