Came back from watching The X-Files just over an hour ago. I liked it, it was pretty good. And Billy Connolly did such a great job in his role, too.
Just got back from Hellboy II. I'll admit it was indeed better than the first[which I liked alot]. Liz is even "hotter" in this one too. Go figure, huh? We goet more Abe this time, which is really awesome because he's probably my favorite one of the main cast. I also love how
Just saw Step Brothers... I admit it was funny and all... but yeah, little too much profanity and too sex talk...
And idk why but Judd Apatow likes the male uuuuuh, things tooooo much. It was funny in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but seriously drop it.
Watched 3:10 to Yuma again earlier today, really good western movie. Tombstone is still my favorite, but this one is really good.
Went over to a friend's and watched Shallow Hal. Finally got to the that movie all the way through. It was great. Funny, touching and one I hope to own by the year's end. Also saw School for Scoundrels a few days ago at the same friend's house[totally forgot to post about it earlier] and that movie too was alot better then I was expecting.
Hells yeah, School for Scoundrels was amazing. I wouldn't mind buying that one.
Dark Knight today. Watched partly from behind my hands, whenever Joker looked like he was going to do something even ickier than usual.

I just went to See X-files: I want to belive...noe im a big XF fan,,,but this movie sucked hard!!!! it wasn't even cinema worthy..It felt more like a crappy reunion epsiode then a movie..I mean there were a few new faces, but they wern, that interesting (besides the priest who cried blood, you know the one from the Trailer) But yea there was nothing paranormal about this movie, the sci-fi was sub par & the story was conviluteded & in all honesty B movie material. It was more of a mulder scully realtionship movie then an action or sci-fi flick, Over all XF: IWTB is a movie that tries to hard to be good & fails at almost every turn
I give it a 4/10 & thats just cause i loved the TV series. Legion Out!!!!
Dark Knight. Then, I saw Dark Knight. Soon, I'm going to see Dark Knight... in IMAX.
This is THE movie.
Hahaha obviously. Three times, huh? lol I admit i'd definitely go see it again. For sure.
Seeing it in IMAX is truly a must. I enjoyed it way more than when I seen it in regular theaters.
Just saw Hellboy 2. 'Twas pretty awesome. "I'm not a baby, I'm a tumor!"

Haha! Heck yea man. Movie was good. Saw The Count of Monte Cristo[2001] yesterday at a friend's. My goodness...this movie is like...insanely good. No idea why I had never seen it before. Reminds me of...The Princess Bride and The Three Musketeers. I'd recommend this to any movie fan, seriously. I hear it's different from the book, so if you've read it...disregard and see the movie anyway.
Watched The Shining for the first while on holiday last week. Jack Nickleson, as always, was awesome, but I'm not sure if I like the movie. I'm glad I watched it, but overall I'm not sure I understand it, so I don't really know what to think.
Saw the Dark Knight. For the third time.
Last movie to make me do this was the Two Towers.
Went over to a friend's and watched Shallow Hal. Finally got to the that movie all the way through.
The many times I've watched parts of it on TV, I haven't seen that up to the ending. Good movie, though.
I finally saw WALL-E on Friday. X3 The scenes in outer space were beautiful.
You've seen Doomsday before. You've seen it in Aliens, Escape From New York, Road Warrior, etc. It's a jumbled, chaotic, breathless cacophony filled with homages, action and some righteous splatter (then again, coming from the director of The Descent and Dog Soldiers how couldn't there be scenes of flesh ruination?). There's very little original in the concepts, but the execution? All Doomsday's. This movie is like a cover album by an awesome band doing the awesome songs of other awesome bands. It's all stuff you've heard before, but it sounds new and dammit sometimes that's all you need.
Doomsday is the post-apocalyptic equivalent of Johnny Cash's 'American IV: The Man Comes Around' album.
Also, Rhona Mitra is, in the famous words of Solid Snake, "OH MY GOD YOU'RE SO ****IN' HOT!!!!!!1112"
Watched The Boondock Saints again with one of my friends. Truly love this movie.
Shallow Hal happened to be on FX last night, and I watched the whole thing. Good movie.

Hahah it was? That's funny. lol Indeed, good movie.
Having finished watching Freakazoid and being reminded of the movie's existence by his "This house is clean" comment (not to mention "They're here!" ), I watched Poltergeist on DVD last night. Apparently every time I'd seen it on TV it was cut to ribbons, because there was tons of stuff I hadn't seen before. The SFX were obviously somewhat dated, but still a very creepy movie with moments of comedy - I presume because Spielberg didn't want it to go too dark.
Possibly not the best choice to watch just before bed, because it's creepier than I'd expected. Things would make me jump even when I *knew* that they were going to happen.
It also reminded me of the fact that there's no season 2 release of Poltergeist: The Legacy, which in turn lead to me dreaming last night that there was. How disappointing when I woke up.

Watched Star Trek: First Contact again a few nights ago. Somehow I missed out Lt. Barclay's little cameo the first time around.
Saw Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. At least as good as the second one IMO.
Pineapple Express. Thought it was a really damn funny movie.
Men In Black on DVD last night. I'd not watched it in ages, so a nice piece of entertainment while eating dinner and surfing the net.

Ha, MIB. Good stuff indeed. If you like MIB you should totally check out The Middleman darkwinguk. I'm assuming there is no ABC Family in the UK, but the episodes are available on iTunes. The show's near cancellation and it's without a doubt my favorite show of the last half decade for sure, so any form of supporting is good if you ask me.
Wow, never actually heard of that (haven't even watched abc family in ages.) I'll probably give that a check out as well.
I saw Wanted on Sunday. Honestly I thought it was a great movie up until the main character became an assassin, then I lost interest. A friend texted me halfway through and invited me to a barbeque, so I left right after the guy falls in the river.
I was a bit late to the party but I saw the Dark Knight. It was good and all, Heath plays a nice Joker (Even if I got a headache from his antics) but I thought it was too long.

Indeed man. I think you'll like it. Alot of people here would probably like it actually. They're Star Wars, Star Trek, Ghostbusters, bad zombie music, lucha libre and other awesome cultural references. Totally love the show.
Pineapple Express. Hilarious movie. Danny McBride should get some kind of 'scene-stealing' award, because damn dude in a funny movie like this filled with funny actors he somehow manages to steal the show.
Ha, yea i've heard good things about Pineapple Express. But last night at a friend's I saw 2001 Manaics. >>
Saw Pineapple Express at midnight last Tuesday/ Wednesday... It was okay, but would have been better had it not been for the theater full of people who laughed at EVERY SINGLE LINE IN THE MOVIE. Definitely need to see it again at some point.
Also saw HellBoy 2 on Tuesday... DAMN that was pretty awesome. Ending was kinda predictable, but still good. Never would have imagined it would be that good. The trailer looked like crap.
Last night I watched "Batman: Gotham Knight", that new animated PG-13 flick. Pretty good... I especially liked Field Test.
And finally, I saw Iron Man for the 3rd time today Such an awesome movie. Perfect mix of comedy, action, and drama.
I watched The Eye last night (the original). I found the ending pretty horrible and rather depressing. Still enjoyed the film though.

Hell yeah, damn people would laugh at everything and $%!% up some parts because they'd continue talking and all you'd hear was laughter carrying on from the last joke.
MIIB last night. Not as good as the original, but OK.
What's with the Michael Jackson cameo though?

I just saw Clone Wars. It was stupid (almost mind-numbingly so) but a lot of fun. The action sequences were truly spectacular and the humor was done well. That said, I know a lot of people will absolutely hate it.

As a HARDCORE Star Wars fan, I'm kinda sceptical of how Clone Wars will turn out. But I'm willing to give it a chance when I go to see it tomorrow. General Grievous is badass.
I'm also a hardcore fan, but I don't take it so seriously that I can't enjoy this movie which is really just a light piece of fluff. I do somewhat regret the decision to release the movie in theaters, because it works well as a pilot episode for the upcoming animated series but it clearly wasn't meant to be a movie.

Dude, don't get me wrong. I'm not really a massive Star Wars purist who takes the Star Wars franchise so seriously that I'll be unable to enjoy this undoubtedly light-hearted movie for what it really is: Star Wars Episode 2.5
I honestly hate to be responsible for double posting, but no-one else has responded to this thread and I just finished seeing Star Wars: The Clone Wars a few hours ago. Anyway, I thought it was a fun movie which had a nice combination of action and humour. Jabba's uncle or whatever (the hutt with the green eyes) was WHACK. My only main problems with this movie was that it was too cutesy and that there were no cameo appearances by General Grievous and Boba Fett. However, it was still a very fun movie. Overall, I'd give this movie 4.5 stars outta 5.
No General Grievous? Really? LAME! But a 4.5 out of 5? Wow...must've been pretty good.

Yeah, the lack of General Grievous totally SUCKED. But I think he'll be in the animated series anyway, there's apparently a Star Wars animated series being made which has a similar look to it as this movie. In any case, the 4.5 stars out of 5 rating is just as a result of me thinking it was a fun movie for what it was meant to be: just an additional story to be told to further milk the multi-billion dollar Star Wars franchise. Yet I actually found that I didn't end up disliking it as passionately as I thought I would. On second thought, I might have been too generous with my rating. I'm now giving it 3 stars out of 5.

Honestly, if people are laughing at every line in the movie, I don't see how it's a complaint at all, as it was a hilarious movie. 'Sides, all those lines we 'missed out on' from laughter were probably insignifigant, since they counted on people finding it funny.
Finishing up Ultraviolet on TNT and I gotta say it's...not that bad of a movie. Milla is great. And hot. Haha!
Well, yesterday was my birthday... my little brother wanted to take me to see Clone Wars... wow, just wow. That was the stupidest, most boring movie I've seen all year. The plot was very predictable, the acting was weak. When I call it a sleeper hit, I mean that in the literal sense.
I went to the midnight showing of Tropic Thunder last Tuesday. I was breathless, in tears less then 10 minutes in. The fake trailers were hilarious. Movie itself was pretty funny too. Definitely did not expect what happened after the helicopter landed
General Grievous is badass.
Grevious:YES, Yes I am!
"Long Live the Trade Federation, All Hail General Grevious"
Im going to see clone wars tonight....I can't wait!!!!!
Watched the first Futurama movie last night, loved it, lots of laughs.
I watched Tomb Raider 2 on BBC3 last night. It was a nice, easy way of ending a Sunday evening. Before that was The Mummy Returns on ITV (albeit at 6pm, so I'd imagine it was cut to ribbons). Can't complain, I have the DVD somewhere.

PS Two people within 24 hours told me I should watch Middleman. I'll have to keep an eye out for it on UK broadcasts.

But the trade federation was only one part of the cis. And I am not sure greivous actually came from a trade federation planet.
