I haven't played a racing game (outside of kart racers and antigrav vehicle things) for years and years. It's mostly due to not being a fan of the 'simulation' style that most racers have been for the last decade or so. But now I've decided I want to get back into racing, and today bought Forza Motorsport 2 for 360 at my brother's request - only to find that it only supports 2 players in split screen mode (that was stupid, I should have checked the back of the box first - I normally would, but I just assumed that in this day and age 4P split screen would be a given).
Online gaming is great, but not everyone likes playing with complete randoms over the other side of the world rather than a group of friends they actually know in person.
Can anyone recommend a racer for 360 that actually supports 4P split screen? I only know of MotoGP '06, which we already intend on picking up - but that's bikes, and we'd like some car action too. I would prefer something more arcadey and less realistic over the more common 'brake for a second in the wrong place and pinwheel into a field' style of simulation type racers, but I'll take any suggestions you can give. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
Hmmm i've never even thought of the 4 player split screen option being removed, but I suppose it may have been removed from a lot of the newer stuff, right? One disadvantage to the new generation. but yea not sure if you've looked at D!rt, but it has trucks, cars, bikes everything. You might want to do some research on it. Man I forgot all about 4p split screen...it's gotta still be around, right?

I checked that earlier, 2p only. Does have up to 8 player system link support, tho?
Hmmm...wow. It's like an underground kind of thing. They're getting rid of the 4p split screen but no one is noticing. =/
