Eh, Evangelion is in the probability of "unlikely", because Gainax is the owner, not Tatsunoko. Also, I predict much sprite reusing, if they're using sprites for this game.

That avatar isn't mine. IIRC I copied this from an entry in the GS LiveJournal community. The creator said it was free to be used, and I just got it for the sole purpose of having Gumshoe's "eyebrow dance". As you point out, it's actually incomplete.
Oh and I wonder if Zack & Wiki will show up somewhere...
It's looking a lot like Marvel VS titles, even though it's using 3D character models like SF4. I'm loving the look, even if it isn't current gen standard...maybe what the Wii will get in place of SF4? 😛

Same character design. She's just made out of polygons instead of the same old sprite set.
Is it Psx? Looked a bit different to me, but yea she is made of polygons...so we know Capcom didn't reuse the original sprite, yet again. =P But this better as heck come stateside. Heck!

Good to see Capcom's back on the saddle, Rival Schools characters seeing the light of day again makes me very very happy.
Still waiting on the gimmicky Capcom characters like say, Dante and VJ (who would fit in perfect with the sentai style anime characters) to be announced. I'd be disappointed if it was Capcom fighter games only.

In a surprise trailer announcement, MegaMan Volnutt/Trigger has been confirmed as a character in the upcoming Tatsunoko VS Capcom!
In the two videos to come, MegaMan Volnutt fights with his standard buster and seems to demonstrate the ability to charge shots.
I took down the video due to 'downinfront-itis'

Doesn't look as epicly fun and fast as the Marvel vs. games did, which makes me sad, but the graphics are pretty and Mega Man!

Arcades are a dying breed. Perhaps Capcom has realized it would save money not dealing with the imports.

It's more than likely a licensing issue, much like Jump Super Stars, Tatsunoko's lisences could be spread among several companies in the US, possibly Europe too.
Still, hopefully it'll come out of PS3, and then we can import!

To answer your question though, Torn...i'm not sure. I haven't tried any imports on my Wii, and I don't know what I need to play imports. But this, I would definitely love to get. It would make my owning a Wii, one of the wisest decisions...i've ever made.

Alright...first and foremost...check out the amount of health these people have. Good gosh...these fights will last ages[awesome]. Secondly... this game is totally on import alert. Quite possibly...my first priority out of any games coming out in the next year. My gosh...this stuff looks sick. Alex and Ryu vs. Ken the Eagle and Jun the Swan.
