"The Harlequin in a Box" Edition for the US. Exclusive to Gamestop. Other retailer's get the same deal, but instead it's The Doctor, not the Harlqeuin. $99.99. Details in the link.
It looks amazing. Being a nut for this series, it's nice to see I'm never disappointed by the collector's editions.

I haven't been following any news on this game so I've pretty much got no clue on what its about. I've played the first two games; is this supposed to be the same gameplay, just with the story set inbetween 2 and 3 (in which case, jeez, way to go milking the franchise cow) or is the gameplay a lot more different? AC2 only came out last year after all.

It has a short Single player story. Its focus is multiplayer.

Main story will clock in at about 15-20 hours, with multiplayer modes for online.  It also includes guns & canons into the gameplay, as well.

As for 'milking the franchise', this one is exclusively about the ancestor, Ezio's, life. The next installment won't be for another 2-3 years, according to Ubisoft.

Still not sure whether we actually need to know more about Ezio. He's not the real star of the series and I thought his purpose in the story was pretty much well explained by the events in 2 as it is. So yeah, seems to be more along the lines of milking the series to me. Guns and cannons don't really add in anything, although the online could be cool if they can handle it well, I guess.

Honestly, it could be about a cat assassin for all I care. As long as the gameplay, voice acting, story, and visuals stay top-notch, which they more than likely will, this game is going to be fantastic. I'm all for the online multiplayer.
