Bioshock INFINITE, to be precise.

Kotaku on the demo.

Well, the first took on extreme objectivism, the second took on extreme collectivism...it seems that this one will take on extreme nationalism?

Coolios.

i like to pretend the second game didn't exist. i also like to pretend that Bioshock Infinite isn't called a "Bioshock" game. I think Irrational studios would like to think the same, since they said that their project was going to be a new IP and even before Bioshock 2 was announced, Ken Levine pretty much said "we're done with Rapture". It's kind of obvious that the title of this game and the second game were just decisions made by the suits in marketing. sad times.

This doesnt look like Bioshock AT ALL to me. It's also goddamn confusing. The graphics though are amazing, but I'm guessing its some sort of pre-rendered CGI kinda thing.

But... yeah. Does not look like Bioshock. Nope.

You know what makes it not look like Bioshock...it's in the SKY! Also it's bright and shiny to contrast with Bioshock's dull and grey. Almost like it was done on purpose or something...Anyway I'm super excited for this game!

After further reading, I now realize why 'Infinite' is such a different sequel. That's because it isn't. The setting in 'Infinite' has absolutely nothing to do with BioShock. No returning characters, no nothing. I mean, the first 2 games took place in the 50s and 60s, whereas this game takes place in 1900. Although honestly, it's more interesting to me than any other BioShock game.

I really like the whole city in the sky concept; it's almost mesmerizing thinking of how a city like that would work. That happens to be the same thought I had on Rapture.
I'm really hoping for a Big Daddy tied to giant balloons floating around.
