So i picked up this game because i'm a big bleach fan. i was really shocked to find that i was possessed into playing more and more.

it's really fun, it has a very wide selection of characters with their own moves (for the most part, few moves have the same effect on the opponent but atleast they are visually different) it has a very smash broes feel to it. it also has download play and individual voices for the characters that actually sound like their anime counterparts.

overall i was thoroughly impressed with this game.

btw you can play as aizen!!!!

What system is the game for?

And Aizen must be an absolutely broken character.

The DS, Aizen isn't too bad he's extremely slow while walking but he makes up for it in a fast dash. the only broken part about him is kyouka suigetsu if you know how to use it right then it's about as fair as ichigo's bankai (meaning you become a cheap ass.)

Huh, I've pondered getting this game. I know it was developed by Treasure, so that alone is a very good indication of it not falling into the catagory of a steaming piece of licensed game. I'll check it out. :D

Yes, it is the same exact one.

Just with those horrid english VAs...

Oh and Aizen uses his sword in this one. In the Japanese one, he attacks with like kidou as normal attacks. In this one, he uses his sword until you use bankai, where he will then use kidou.

That's about it. Its still a fun game though!

Just a question, the pack shows the WiFi logo...

Is the game online versus as I hope, or is it something else?

And if it's the former, how good is it? Do you need the friend code to play against others or can you play against a random player?

I ask because I really want an online fighter for the DS, and I've been enjoying the show from what I catch on Anime Central, so if it is online I'd buy it if I see it.

Robooooooooooooooooo

If you want an online fighter for the DS, get Jump Ultimate Stars! :D It's got playable Bleach characters in it plus looooooads of other decent manga and anime characters :D

Yes, I know, but Bleach is getting released in English. Plus, while I really want JUS, it's more like Smash Bros and I want something more like Street Fighter. :(

Y'know, assuming this game is anything like Guardian Heroes, I'd say it falls somewhere in between... that game definitely was not very Street Fighter-y, but then, seeing as it had a health bar, wasn't very Smash Bros.-y either.

From what I've seen on YouTube it looks like a typical 2D fighter, though more like Guilty Gear than Street Fighter...not that that's a bad thing of course.

Yeah, its pretty much a standard 2D fighter.

And yeah, I think its more in the vein of Guilty Gear than Street Fighter.

i tried out the multiplayer download play yesterday, it worked out very well. seeing as how i don't have Wi-Fi i haven't been able to test out the online play. but yes it does kinda feel like street fighter as far as the controls go, but you can also have 4 people play at once, so it's pretty decent for multiplayer with special attacks flying all over the place.
