Don't think there's any topic on them, but they're games, too, aren't they? And all of us sometime or another has played them. Do you play online versions of classic timekillers, like tetris, pong, and solitaire, or do you play more recent trends, like tower defenses and browser-based MMOs? So tell - what online games do you like?

I've been playing a tower defense called Random Defense for a while now. I'm also playing a game called Modern Tactics 2 right now as I type this.

So what do you kill time with with these? Any recommendations to others?

Don't really play many browser games, but it reminded me about this - Quake coming as a free browser-based multiplayer game. That link in particular gives access to a beta signup, too.

I tend to pick up the occasional time waster from the Nodwick blog or Jayisgames

Mostly I like me a good point and click puzzler, of late I think the best one was channel 4's Bow Street Runners, but be warned it does contain the odd scene of blood and depections of life in Georgian england.
