Ooh, I was late. Off goes my topic. c&p:
...
I guess it's better than another 3D CV? I don't really have any words.
Character models are designed by Takeshi Obata, of Death Note fame. In short, Light Belmont.
Now all we need is L-lucard.
EDIT: Or Misa Renard, perhaps.
Oh lord. Konami...really. What are you thinking? I mean i've not played a Castlevania game or anything, but I do know it is a platformer[2d for the most part...but I know they've made atleast one 3D one] and usually when games go from platformer to fighter...wait. Actually...no this could be good. I mean take Smash Bros...while not all of the characters are from platformers alot of them are and then there's that Viewtiful Joe fighting game[forgot the name hehe] that I heard was pretty decent. But then again...this is like...what Tekken/Virtua Fighter/Soul Caliber, yes? Ok that's a bit different so yea this might not be a good idea. But hey i'm guessing we'll be seeing this at E3, so let's see it in action.

This art style on CV characters is is atrocious and we may be facing waggle controls on a fighting game that's a spinoff of a 2D platforming series that already has a somewhat niche audience as is.
What have you done, Konami. What have you done.
I was thinking it may not suck until I read some of the details. "Enemies interfering with the fight?" NO THANK YOU, KONAMI.
Judge the game throught debut trailer and developer videos.
The game doesn't look bad. I might give it a chance.
I read the article in nintendo power about it, frankly I think it looks fun, but im still somewhat caustious, It strikes me as the kind of game you should rent before you decide weather to buy it or not, I just hope that you can use the classic controller instead of just the wii-mote & Nyunchuck.
Do not like what I see at all. =
