Datel have finally gotten round to what a lot of us were waiting on - a version of the awesome FreeLoader software for the Wii. For those of you not in the know, what this does is allow you to ignore that pesky regional lockout companies are so fond of putting in their consoles. This particular version gains extra kudos for working for both Wii and GameCube games - so if you only had a GameCube FreeLoader before, you don't need it any more with this 8D
I dunno how much this will mean to other folks, but to me this means a lot - my version of the combined Action Replay and FreeLoader for GameCube is old enough that the Wii won't read it, and it seems with recent patches Nintendo nerfed the disc swap method for getting things to play - so I'm rather glad to see this emerge. I just hope Nintendo don't find some method of making this useless as well, but I'm very happy to see it available at long last. I've missed playing my imported Tales of Symphonia n_N
Oh and also. Can you say "Brawl for Euro customers when it's released in the US"? 8D8D8D
*Gets all excited, then realizes its for European Wiis only.*

Actually, iirc it's region free in itself, so you guys can get Mario Kart early and we can get Smash Bros and uncensored No More Heroes!
FreeLoader itself isn't region free. But.
Perhaps this will be of some help to our overseas compatriots. =D
That's until Nintendo releases a firmware update and blocks it...
Datel should release alternative superconsoles
