That game can be used with a powerfull PC.
If you own Trackmania Sunrise and have modem with high speed (like broadband), it would be fun to play it online with you.
Would you like to play it with me at least once?
I have the demo, and the original game, but I don't have the full version of Sunrise, much as I want it. Too hard to find, and too little money to spare to buy it. Definitely on the Christmas list, though.
Curiously, the water looks like crap on my computer, although everything else looks fine.
I have Trackmania, and have downloaded all the updates down to like...a year ago (which is when I got FFXI and so haven't been on it since). Would the sunrise addons be in the downloadable bits?
I'd love to play it online, and I have DSL broadband, but my virus scanner refuses to let me go online with it without asking permission, and the game won't ALT+TAB to let me give it permission! I think I'd need to set the options beforehand, but I dunno how.
Anyone able to tell me? My firewall is Symantec Norton '05.

Are you able to close the firewall with or without the program?

Maybe the firewall causes that problem, but not the virus scanner itself.
Don't shut down the firewall. Ever. Open up the specific ports TrackMania needs to work, but that's all.
And if you can't Alt-Tab, see if you can't run the game in a window.
Yeah I guessed I'd have to open up the ports, but I dunno how to do that, or what ports I'd need to open
