I have a question. Does anyone know how to connect to the internet with a Dreamcast/ know where to find a user friendly FAQ for connecting to the internet?
I have a live phone like hooked into the back of my Dreamcast. It must of had a modem of some sort installed, because when I put in SA or SA2, it the internet option is highlighted, and if you select it, it trys to dial up. Can anyone help me?

Do you have that web browser disk that came wih the DC? You might wanna try that. Although i'm nearly positive Sega shut down the online portion of the Dreamcast awhile back.

They shut down SEGA-NET, which was their centralized internet service and game server hub. With browser software, you should still be able to go online with the DC provided you have an existing internet service connection that doesn't require specialized software to function (AOL, NetZero).

You'd have to fill in some fields like DNS info, I'm sure there are still guides you can find online to help you with that. But in all likelyhood all online compatible games went down along with SEGA-NET.

I heard there are specialized servers run by players that you can connect to for bouts of classic PSO and possibly other games, don't have much info on that though.
