Not on your part, mind (although I've been seeing this particular article around for a few days now, that's not old enough to warrant "old news") - actually, I recall a completely different Fox team reporting the exact same thing. Either Fox is spreading the same misinformation - again - or this is, in fact, the same article, going round the good ol' series o' tubes one more time (for whatever reason).
Still objectionable, though. I'd need slightly more decisive evidence, mind (the judge would clearly penalize me an ! if I decided to scream "Take That!" now), but it just seems obvious to a tech-savvy person that this article was designed solely to scare non-tech-savvy persons. No more, no less - and I haven't even bothered to click the link to be able to say this.

On of the anchor's for Fox 9 also works on the 92 KQRS morning show, so I figured I'd send them this stuff... I was shocked when I got a message back from the anchor himself.

Nope. The story I remember distinctly had mentioned the DS and the PictoChat.
Although, I'll admit, the PlayStation "Pornable" one did come to mind. I mean, so kids can download porn to their PSPs. No duh; you can download porn to ANYTHING that the word "download" is applicable for, even if it's limited to just ASCII text humping ASCII text.

A misnomer. This is not Fox News. It is a Milwaukee Fox affiliate's local news program, meaning it shares contant with Fox.
A quick glance at Wikipedia shows that it is a Fox O&O(owned and operated) station, that still doesn't mean there is any relationship between their news department and the nationwide Fox News operation other than wire-sharing stories.
