Li-ion is better then Alkaline, but suck compared to NiMH.
You better have a damn good reason for posting that. Lithium batteries offer three times the voltage per cell as nickel-based chemistries and has a higher energy density. Lithium batteries don't experience the memory effect that plagues all nickel batteries, have a slow loss of charge when not in use, and don't require scheduled cycling to improve their overall lifespan. They're also better for the environment.
When Li-ion AAs become common, then I'll place them above NiMH. Li-ion may be lightyears ahead of NiMH in technological terms, but the fact the NiMH are available in standardize batterys and Li-ion are restricted to custom batteries make NiMH by far more convient.

That doesn't mean they suck.
Oh, and Lion will likely never be available in AA format due to the chemistry involved.
A bump, yes, but there's some new (I presume) comparitive pics available for viewing. 😮 (found at Penny Arcade)
I'm a little suspiocious about the "Brighter" screen.
I mean, the DS's screen is pretty blinding as it is.
What do they want it to do, light up the freakin' room?

It.... the... what?
Yeah, the PSP screen is brighter than the DS. However, DSLite is brighter than the PSP at is highest setting--which is perfect on sunny days where sun glare is a problem.
I might reconsider and trade in my old DS for this... IGN's review was really good... and it looks so sexy!
The DSL's new back light will help gamers, like me, who have sadly become accustomed to playing outside after beating Boktai three times in a row. Sadly, my DS is damaged. The right upper hing is snapped, and the top screen likes to wobble. I really hope they fix the problem with the sensitivity of the touch screen. I've had my DS since the January before last, and the touch screen takes and hour to calibrate. Right now, that Lite seems pretty appetizing.
