Yep...the big topic
Everything is on topic in this one...
One rule though, NO BASHING...
Nintendo fanboys, lay off the Sonys.
The first thing I offer up is a new DS game by SquareEnix, quoted from ign.com:
Quote:
Super Mario Hoops 3 on 3 -- Square-Enix's unusual contribution to the Nintendo DS catalog is a sports game. The title features gameplay controlled via the touchscreen, and wireless gaming is also a feature (though online was not confirmed.)
WTF? I thought Rockstar making a table tennis game was bad...
Rockstar's making a table tennis game?
Okay, after seeing G4's coverage for today, I'm stuck. I want a PS3, but the price is either $500 for the simple system and $600 for the whole package. That's a LOT of money, and every dime I make this summer will most likely fund it... Plus the boomerang controller is no more. It's now shoped like the old PS2 and PS1 controller with a twist, it now has a motion sensor built in just like the Wii's. They even showed it off in demos at the press conference.
I want Spore! The game looks incredible! The people behind the Sims is making a new game where you create your own creature and run it through evolution from tiny single celled organisms to something with capacity equal to humans. Apparently, players could eventually take over the entire solar system if they wanted. Also, it has online play where other players species can visit other worlds and interact there. It looked so cool!
Super Paper Mario? Super Mario Galaxies? FF III? Yoshi's Island 2? The Sonic games for Wii and 360? A mess of other games I have yet to discover?
I need a job, and a good paying one at that.
I'm not going to school this fall... I'm going to instead channel the $10,000 bucks I spend into video games...
Oh.
Oh, Psx. Marry me and take my babies, please.
Best news I've heard, EVER. <3 <3
Another Exclusive RE >> I'ma call bull on that...but for now that makes me very very excited.
Yes. Yoshi's Island 2. It NEEDS to happen RIGHT NOW.
Mmm.
Now if only I could find the FIRST game, SOMEWHERE.
Nintendo recently re-reissued the GBA version for a low price point, so keep your eyes peeled - it's out there.
I got some hands-on time with Orchestra, Zelda, and Sonic Wildfire yesterday morning during early access hours. I couldn't get any time on it at all today because Nintendo closed the Wii area at about 10:30 this morning. The line was so long that it wound all the way around their 2,000 square foot booth and out the door onto the concourse. I'll try and score some more Wii time tomorrow.
Too bad I want be getting a 360 until NEXT Christmas. On this one, I'm getting a Wii, no doubt about it. Still though, Halo 3 looks awful pretty...
Be sure to try out that game with the BIG DAMN TRUCK. I wanna know how that is, seems to be becoming a meme on /v/.

So long as you're hanging around at E3, any chance you'd have time to drop by Kentia Hall and see what Agetec has going on? Probably wishful thinking on my part (and probably a bit late to ask), but I'm beginning to twitch involuntarily since the game sites have yet to say a word about anything Agetec may have going on (such as an official Last Raven release date, or news about whether Agetec will be bringing over Armored Core 4 for PS3 and/or 360). I have seen the new AC4 trailer (woo!), but that was just by From Software, nothing was said about Agetec's involvement.
Argh, I don't have a link but I'd like to say to all two of you who care about Shin Megami Tensei that Atlus has officially announced Persona 3 for the U.S. This is significant, in that the game from what I've seen contains some rather questionable content.
In order for each protaganist to summon their Personas, they shoot themselves in the head with a special type of gun. In fact, teenage suicide seems to be a theme in this game.
Fun. The Famitsu trailer released 2 months ago can be viewed here, showcasing a nice little music video montage and some in-game stuff. 15 minutes, enjoy. Most of it's untranslated though.
Much <3 @ Igor.
EDIT: Oh yeah, both Valkyrie Profiles (Lenneth and Silmeria) will also be released. Lenneth is said to be having some text touch-ups to eliminate grammar errors that were present in the original PS1 game, and "new sound recordings" which may be referring to the english dub. Dub impressions for Silmeria seem favorable from hearing what was available at the show.
