I heard that there was a part in FF3 that is kind of an homage to Phantom of the Opera. Can anyone find me some screencaps from that, please? I'm a FF and Phantom obsessee, so I'd love to see it.
Assuming you mean the SNES game, and therefore FF6 (FF3 was some NES game they're remaking on the DS)... I dunno how much like Phantom of the Opera it was, though admittedly I've not put much effort to get farther than when Kefka sets Figaro Castle on fire. Which is really not very far.
Anyway, this might interest you.
It's an opera, but there aren't exactly similarities, so I wouldn't call it an homage to Phantom of the Opera. FF6's opera is about a girl longing for her boyfriend while her land is under occupation and the enemy nation's prince is trying to marry her.

I recommend FFVI on general principle, though.
