I'm moving into a new house in a few weeks, and taking my gamecube with me, specifically for multiplayer purposes with the two guys and gal i'm living with.
I have all the Sonic games, Metroid, Zelda, smash bros, mario kart... etc... but I want more.
So I have a decent selection of games available. But what am I missing?
As it's now an EX console, games are going cheap. What were your best hidden plays on the gamecube, hidden gems that didn't get the recognition they deserved.
I'm looking, specifially with a multi player slant but i'll take anything that's good. What would you recommend?
I'm trying to find Soul Callibur 2, because I need a good beat em up and i 'think' it's multiplayer.
Any other recomendations?
Soul Calibur 2 is 2 player at least, but winner stays on is always fun.
Phantasy Star Online has 4 player co-op, though it's not as fun as online or single player. Time Splitters 2 if you want FPS.
Can't think of anything else right now other than Zelda: Four Swords Adventure and FF Chronicles, both of which have the disadvantage of requiring multiple GBAs and connectors...
Capcom vs. SNK 2 came out for it... that being said, you'd probably be insane for attempting to play it with Gamecube controllers.
You could always use EO-ism SH!!!15m1lol1
Bomberman Generations has always been a winner for me. Good luck finding it now, though.
Do you like Mario Party games?

Can't believe I forgot that one. 😛
Also F-Zero is a great racing game too. Does Star Fox Assault have a good multiplayer?
I find this topics lack of Super Monkey Ball disturbing.
For multiplayer, GET Four Swords. Seriously, it's the most hilarious amount of fun with four people possible.
F-Zero GX is a must as is Super Monkey Ball, if only for the absolutely awesome Monkey Target. You may or may not want the Gamecube version of Wario Ware.
Starfox Assault's multiplayer is average.
Yeah, forgot about Mario Party. As far as that goes, get Mario Party 6. Best one in the series to date, IMHO. And that's a good thing, because the rest of the GC Mario Party games are horribly meh.
lol shadow had gr8 mtplr
*shoots*
Uhh what about Tales of Symphonia. A little wonky at first, but when you got 4 RPG fanatics in the room, makes for some sick fight sequences...
Dude I want to play that game so bad. I'll add that to my list of Final Fantasys, Legend of Zeldas, Metal Gear/ Solids, Phantasy Stars, Metroids, etc. =D
