Not the impression I was under. I was under the impression there WERE a lot of gamers who liked Sonic, but only for his OLDER endeavours.
Well yeah, but I figure he's just sort of dropped out of the general gamer psyche. If something comes up that reminds the average gamer of Sonic, he might think, Hey, I remember those games. That was a lot of fun. Too bad the new games suck so much.
Well Sonic Heroes had some instances where it was fun...but the falling off the stage multiple times killed my interest...the casino levels were real guilty of this...

Something gives me the idea that people only vote for Samus the character because they like Metroid the game. Samus is an empty shell, a metaphysical vessel for the player, much like Half-Life's Gordon Freeman. There's nothing to her.

I dunno, while she never actually speaks dialogue, she does have SOME kind of voice in Prime (namely, screaming when dying, grunting when injured, etc.)...
She does? Hm. I never heard it before. Then again, I am experiencing minor hearing loss, and the few times I played Prime were in a very noisy place.
yeah a few grunts and stuff. when you stepped on something bad really. and you can see her reflection in the screen if you do a charge blast close to a wall. Best Person in a Robot suit simulator tis Metroid Prime.
