Okay, Mike here. I have a dilenma, I've been playing Half-Life 2 for about 2 days now, off and on. And now I have hit a rocky stop. The area I'm stuck in was simple at best. I have my airboat, and it has its machinegun now. I entered a area, with two tanks, one behind me and one to the left of me. I of course took out the tanks but I feel I am stuck in that area. I have checked GameFAQs on several occasions and simply cannot find for what those guys tell me to do.
They say to find two explosive barrels by a cherry-red cargo container. There is four of those in this area. I've searched by boat and foot for these containers to continue as these boys say- but I have had no luck to find such a thing. I need a gamers help. Also, I'll present two screenshots to fammilarize you of my problem. Thanks.
Aah, I got stuck here myself just a few weeks ago when I first played it...okay, as I recall you wanna take your boat up to the red container box thing that you can see on the right of your first screenshot. I think that's where you can get it in...it'll lead you down a route that comes out at the ramp on the second screenshot, which you can jump to get into the pipe you can see.
I'm not sure if that's exactly right, I'm working off memory, but it's definitely something similar. Either way you got to get the boat to the ramp and jump.
There's a way to get under the wooden bit, I think. Focus on that...
You have to get out the boat and walk/swim through the wooden poles on the far left of your first screenshot. Go though the red container through the back end and blow up the explosive barrels. The door's will open so you'll be able to get the boat though it.
