25 of September in US and Australia, 26 in Europe.
Excited? You bet your booty I am.
HELL YEAH! ... Does it mean I'll get a 360... probably not =
I'm excited to see how the story ends... (Multiplayer is great too, but I just LOVE the story)
Yea I was watching stuff on it on G4. AOTS was bascially about the Beta delay. But yes the release date is here. There has been said to be over 4,000,000 reserves already. Wow!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. I wasn't expecting it until November at least.

Same here, I'm almost looking forward to it more for the story resolution than the actual game itself, lol. (key word: almost)
September 25th....that's the same day I leave for the Navy......damn it. Damn it all.
And the Halo 3 public beta just came out a few hours ago, too! n_N
When I played the first two I had a really crappy t.v. so I could barely hear what was going on so I don't really know the story much, but I heard that the cut scenes from the first two will be included, does anyone know for sure?
Wait...
...Halo games have a story?

I think that's only in the pricey Legendary edition, unfortunately.

Har de frickin' har har mister.

Yeah, but you have to read three pulp paperbacks to "appreciate" it.
Just the first one really @ Cycle... And hell, I read that after I played through both games.
The games themselves have a decent amount of storyline, particularly in Halo 2's case, but the books go far deeper into the storyline. The second book is somewhat pointless as it's just a novelization of Halo 1 (and written by a different author than the others who I didn't like much), but the other three books are all pretty good, and worth reading if you like sci-fi, regardless of whether you play the games or not.

Have you by chance read any of these books?
And a fourth book's already out, with a fifth on the way.
Halo is a video game.
The Halo movie was set to be produced by Peter Jackson.
Peter Jackson was in the third Lord of the Rings with Brad Dourif.
Brad Dourif was in Murder in the First with Kevin Bacon.
Thread is mine.
Damn you, Wonderbat. You shall rue this day! *shakefist*
But Peter Jackson wasn't in the 3rd LotR... he's the director of LotR...
Director cameo lol
