According to AICN, he directed that brilliant advert with the dancing Transformer Citroen.

So it might still be good! :p

(What happened to Guillermo del Toro's rumoured attachment to the project? I vaguely remember something about him wanting to finish Hellboy 2 first, but the studio wanted work on Halo to start before that.)

Saw the other small movie he made, Alive in Joburg, and while I can say I'm not overall particularly thrilled about this guy working on it, I can say that I am interested in seeing the work he'll put out for the movie.
