Portrait of Ruin is, of course, another entry into the classic Castlevania series.
I got this for Christmas last year, and it's an absolute blast to play, especially for those who enjoyed Symphony of the Night. It has great gameplay, an epic soundtrack (Invitation of a Crazed Moon = win), and a pretty good storyline to go with it. Because there are many secrets to find, and endings to get, it's loaded with a ton of replay value; it's an immersive experience that keeps you coming back for more.

Definitely one of the top three Castlevania games in my eyes, along with Symphony of the Night and Dawn of Sorrow.
Jonathan took a while to warm to me, but I do like him as a protagonist.
I still haven't got all the secrets. ALMOST all, but not all. Still lack Olde Axe Armor.

Cocytus is my favourite spell.
Got all skills mastered, all items, and beat all modes apart from Old Axe Armor, which I got bored with. I also beat Jonathan Lv1 Hard, but that was with Ancient Armour and Miser Ring so lol.
Played online with Saf a few times, was good fun.
Edit: The Record Player Item was nifty but it needed more killer records besides Simon's Theme

Iron Blue Intention is my favorite song, but that's because I already loved it in Castlevania: Bloodlines, which is a great game as well.
I too have all of my skills mastered. I may still be missing one item in the whole game, but I haven't played in a while, so I don't quite remember.
I absolutely love the music in the CV series; IBI is also one of my favorites, and PoR features a great remix of Theme of Simon when you find it.

So... you didn't find the other records? Or do you mean to say they weren't m/ enough?
The latter. I meant what I said - I have every single item. Not to brag, of course; all it requires is time and patience. Also a map if you're like me and missed some of the items in Burnt Paradise, Nation of Fools and the castle itself.

I'm now at level 92 and beaten Dracula around five times. I typically ignore the other modes since they never have any plot.
However I think I triggered a glich that makes Zombie dragons impossible to appear so I can't get the drop items from it to complete my collection.
