I'm back from the period of coolness and i had a cool summer this year, but i could'nt travel to USA this time, because i could'nt afford it!

Do you like Playstation 2 and what games do you have for your PS2 the game console?
I bought one this month and i will buy a game for my game console, Tekken Tag Tournament the game.
I don't have so many games so far.

I guess i am going to have a cool autumn too! :)

I've got an Aqua PS2.
Gamage
Ratchet and Clank
Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time
Tekken 4
Soul Calibur 2
Virtua Fighter 4: Evo
Gran Turismo 3
Sega Superstars
Got alot but cant remember them
I'd definatly recommend a PS2. Because it has the most games, most of them are good. Beware of the hype though. Killzone and Getaway are good examples.

Meh, PS2's alright - too bad that, unless you know what you're looking for, it can be hard to find a good game in it's vast library. >>

Anyway, currently in ownership of:

GTA3
GTA Vice City
GTA San Andreas
Metal Gear Solid 3
Time Crisis 3

Used to have Rayman 2, Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex and Tekken Tag Tournament (I think there was another game on top of that, but i can't remember), but got bored of 'em so traded 'em in. 😮 Also played and beat all the Jaks (I'm considering buying them again now. cc), and also had a quick play of Ratchet and Clank. Considerin' buyin' that now, too.

That's about it, really. 😮

I'm not a PS2 person at all. I haven't played half of the games we own for it (which isn't many), but I have spent many many hours on the three games I do play:

DDRMAX
DDRMAX2
DDR Extreme

😀

(if anyone's curious, we also have Dragonball Z Budokai 1 and 2, Kingdom Hearts, The Sims, and had Sonic Heroes at one point as well.)

Update to my previous list, I recently bought Burnout Revenge too, and am near to completing that...DANG that's fast!!!

Wraith

PS: I used to be going out buying new games every fortnight, but since I got FFXI on the PC I haven't nearly bought as many games as usual. 5 a month fee, but the game has saved me SO MUCH MORE money from simply not buying loads of games >.>

Still a PS2 fanatic though :p

I didn't like the way it's been made much less accessible as a time attack game: there's no dedicated time attack/single race mode, which means you have to go hunting through the World Tour mode to find the circuit you want; there aren't any lap timers during races; the record screen doesn't indicate what car you used. And the loading and saving times on the PS2 version are quite horrendous. The Crash Mode is an improvement though, apart from the "golf game" boost system and the slow camera sweep back to the start as the game loads.

It's fun and spectacular, but a 3-day rental was enough for me.

I rented Cold Winter recently too. It's a decent FPS, well worth playing, although the searching of bodies slows things down, there's a lot of unnecessary swearing in the cut-scenes and some weapons are under-used (there are about 4 sniper rifles spread over the game!). Nice physics and fire effects though. The standard difficulty was a bit too easy for me (the developers were aiming to make an accessible game) but Elite can be frustratingly hard.

Yes yes yes...the MAJOR failing of the game. I agree completely, and this is the major reason that IMO it ranks about the same as Burnout3:Takedown. It's increased speed makes up for it, meaning it's not worse than B3, but it isn't better either.

I dunno, they're longer than some, but I'd say they're not too bad considering the speed of the game...I need some time to prepare myself before the race lol.

Agreed, at first I wasn't sure about the new crash style, but at least they got rid of those infernal powerups, and the possibillity of multiple crashbreakers won me over "> lol. The flybacks are a bit boring though.

On the plus side, it's much faster than the origional, and the handling is a tad more sim than arcade, a fact that I wasn't sure about at first, but after feeling the weight of the car as you slam an opponant into the wall, I'm converted^^

I agree that it's not quite what B3 was, but it's something different, and treated as such and not compared, I think it deserves a decent ammount of credit too :)
