Yes, I've already made good with the contents of my wallet, so we can leave on a happy note. Yes, I've had a tearful goodbye with my soul, which I am giving to Sony in exchange for a PSP and a PS3.

Now that the mourning of the loss of my wallet's contents has passed, I'm going to take a deep breath and buy the PSP.

Anyone got a few games to suggest to me? I've already decided to buy Metal Gear Ac!d 1 and 2, Ace Combat X, and Sonic Rivals, and I may get GTA: LCS if I can convince my dad I should. Anyone know any other must-have games?

GET LUMINES! In fact, that is a game everyone must have when they get a PSP.

Also look for the upcoming Loco Roco and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops which is real MGS and not card-based.

If you want any good RPGs I suggest you get Valkyrie Profile Lenneth and import from the UK Tales of Eternia. This is assuming that you don't already own these titles for the PS1.

I heard Megaman Powered Up, Megaman Irregular Hunter X, and Exit was pretty good and they are only $20 at EB games and Gamestop.

I can seriously reccomend Armored Core: Forumula Front, especially if you're a big mech lover.

Also, if you have lots of friends, or the equipment to set up your PSP for online play, Monster Hunter Freedom is a must.

Untold Legends is nifty if you can pick it up cheap or have a couple of friends willing to play through with you, otherwise, avoid. Not sure on the sequal though.

I want a PSP for those four games, plus Darkstalkers, even if the D-Pad disagrees with fighters...and the new Tales of the World.

The only ones that aren't mentioned:
Tekken: Dark Resurrection. (Only if you like Tekken though)
Street Fighter Alpha 3. (Only if you like Street Fighter though)

I got the PSP. I have Metal Gear Ac!d and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Will get Ac!d 2 when I beat 1, and I'll get Ace Combat X and Sonic Rivals on release.

Question, how much did Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for the PSP cost you? I ask this because the PS2 version cost only $20.

Also, I'm telling you guy, you need to get Lumines(not the upcoming Lumines II which have a stinky OST) assuming you like cool puzzle games with great music.

I hate to say it, but I feel there are only two good games to keep you hooked to it, they are Metal Gear Ac!d and GTA: Liberty City Stories, all the others are a "play and put down", so you'll never really bother playing them. So personally, I think it's a waste of money.

Why would something like Lumines be a "play and put down" game? If anything, it is a pick up and play anytime you are bored, waiting for something or if you want to beat your high score.

BEHOLD THE POWERS GIVEN TO ME BY THE ALMIGHTY FILM STUDIO ADVERTISING DEPARTMENT. Making bad critiques look good (or vice versa) since 1959!

Eh, it's all subjective really. Just because Snake's in it doesn't mean it'll be worth your time.
