since fans of the game were given promises of future updates/patches etc and yet it seems that valve have spent their time making l4d2 instead. 
Valve's official response is that they're not abandoning L4D.
Too soon Valve, too soon. But want. Because it is the greatest co-op game ever.
As for L4D1, they released the Game of the Year edition not too long ago. So unless there is something in L4D2 that makes L4D1 better then its hard to see what they can do.
People really need to stop whining about it. Even though L4D only had 4 campaigns, I'm pretty sure most people got their moneys worth.
I would love if L4D 2 had an option to pick between night and day.
I'm excited about it. 
Loving the hell out of the first one and seeing the new stuff in this one makes me happy inside. 
All my friends LOVE L4D. They would like get water guns and play a make-believe versoin, they would always play it at eachothers house... EVERYONE.

I'm not quite sure what to think of it. A friend of mine said he played the demo and wasn't impressed. Said it was almost exactly the same as the first one.
I played the demo a while ago. Almost the same exact thing with a few enhancements, like new guns and characters. It felt more like an expansion pack. Not buying this one until its super cheap.
yeah that's exactly what I'm going to do. A shame since part of me wants to just go on and get it. I just can't splurge on video games right now.
yeah, the prices are hurting my pockets at the moment, so Imma have to wait awhile for this one as well.
Target has the game for $44 this week... And Best Buy will have it for $35 on Black Friday...
I guess I'm debating if I want to grab it or not though =(

If anyone actually bothered to buy L4D2 and realized how awesome it is, my wife and I could use some help actually beating the darn thing. We just barely managed to finish Dead Center, after about two dozens tries, and after bumping down to Easy. After being able to beat campaigns with a 50/50 chance in L4D1 on Advanced, it's kind of taken the wind out of our sails, and we need some non-AI survivors to play with.
Offer still stands if you have L4D1.

Oh my goodness... Everytime I go to my best friends house we play this game for hours! It has got to be one of the funnest games Ive played this year.
