Well hey there. Since the MoFo seems to be the only forum I've seen that doesn't have ANYTHING related to Let's Plays, I've decided to take it upon myself to change that. What is a Let's Play, you ask? Look around the Let's Play Archive for a bit and you'll understand. I'll be posting these on my YouTube account, and if I get good enough feedback, I may do another (Double Dragon II: The Revenge, anyone?).
So, without further ado, let's begin.
NOTE: These videos contain infrequent swearing. Nowhere near Angry Video Game Nerd levels, but it's there.
Let's Play Double Dragon (Mission 1 & 2)
My first Let's Play video. Forgive the quality--it should hopefully be improved in future attempts. Also, I apologize in advance for how awful my voice is.Let's Play Double Dragon (Genesis)
The second video in the Double Dragon Let's Play series. In this installment, we take a break from the NES version of the game and focus briefly on the Genesis version.Let's Play Double Dragon (Mission 3 - part 1)
Let's Play Double Dragon (Mission 3 - part 2)
The language in these videos is very coarse, and there's a ton of nerdrage and frustration. Enjoy.Let's Play Double Dragon (Mission 4 - Failure)
Failure and frustration.
We did have a thread like this in MF Central a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. Only, it as purely commentaries, no video involved (At least, I don't remember anyone doing a video based one). oo
EDIT: Yeah. I just checked. It doesn't exist any more (At least in MFC).
I'm interested in re-doing my Gunstar Heroes run.
Yeah, Craig started off a series of video game commentaries which were quite cool. Didn't last very long though unfortunately.
I've considered doing something like this at times but I'd be limited to PC games and ROMs since I don't have anything to record from the TV with Also I get embarrased talking Nn I dunno might give it a go in future
Anyway watching the vids now~ not played double dragon before but yeah

HA! Totally found the old topic. Don't know how many of the commentaries are still available though. I checked mine, and it's not available. =(
All of Craigs appear to be available though.
EDIT: And for reference, I will be doing a Gunstar Heroes run. Potentially not a video based one, but a Gunstar Heroes one none the less!
Middle-aged women with old lady haircuts. Haha!

Well, that makes it better, then. You won't notice how inaccurate I was with my information.
lol
by what means are you recording these btw? just in case i decide i'll give it a go
Using a program called CamStudio. It's free and pretty easy to find.
Call me when you get to The Rosetta Stones.
I want to drink in your sweet tears of frustration... mmm, yes... it... it sustains me.

Yeah, as if I'm going to bother playing that POS.
EDIT: Mission 3 up, split into two parts because YouTube is stupid.

NOTE: Language in these videos is VERY coarse due to frustration.
I am totally gonna do a RKA commentary one of these days.
Too bad I kinda missed the wagon.
This reminds me I've got to finish editing and segmenting my audio playthrough of sonic 1-knuckles in one sitting.
All my old commentaries actually got blasted offa putfile. I was in fact planning on reviving the topic months ago, but it's taken so long to edit this file because it was so big I could only do small segments at a time without crashing my lappy. Once it's done I'll post it in bits. It mostly contained me going way, way way off topic though.

Video of Mission 4 added. And the results are not pretty.
Have found: Old Talkthroughs, except Sonic 1 + unsegmented unposted World of Illusion.
Need: Place to put audio files that isn't putfile, since it killed the old ones.
Edit: Also finally got round to watching Wesu's, finding his voice kinda cool and enjoying laughing at his failure }=D
Edit Edit: Tindeck, eh?
Once, years ago, a small, white duck set out on a quest. Not a particularly sacred quest, not a particularly honourable quest...
No, Donald simply wanted to pillage some treasure. The greatest treasure known to mallardkind, the lost treasure of the Great Duck Treasure Island. He'd be rich, he'd be independant, he'd be comfortably well off, if that is, he could beat his rival Pete to the shiney horde. Variable gimmick gun in hand and underage pilots at the ready, Donald set out across the world, facing dangers and sights seen by no fowl before. He became more than a treasure hunter, more than a mere man.
He became...
Our hero's journey begins where else but his home town, illustrious Duckberg, a city steeped in culture and history, a city filled wide and tall with buildings of every scale and citizens of every nature, a city... of ducks, really. But all is not right in the peaceful metropolis, Pete's gang is afoot, is our mighty mallard safe even in his own home?
Of course he is! But it seems that investigating the city further is fruitless, thus our plucky ducky follows his only lead, an ancient map leading to the heart of Mexico!
Success! Or is it, a crumbling pyramid awaits, but what lies within? Danger? Death? Dollars? Or something even more sinister?
To be continued...

This is not a bump because editing no longer bumps. No. >.> *Flee*
