Link vs. Arwing. Too weird to describe. Just watch it yourself. Yes, this is really in the game. Yes, you can fight it too, provided you have a GameShark and the N64 version of the game.
If that's the same video I've got, then the ending is faked.
But I've got the codes that supposedly do the trick, so I'll dig out my N64 and GS and give 'er a go.
The ending IS edited, but everything prior (barring the title) is unedited, apparently.
Getting a StarFox 64 quote wrong is punishable by death in some regions.
Not you, EssAitch. Otherwise, nice find.
Wow. My two loves combined. o_o
If only I had a gameshark... **would so totally try that out, and these as well** That link came in the Zip file with the video, apparently it can be not only an Arwing, but like a thousand other things o_O;; Unless I didn't read correctly.

Wow, I wonder how long it took to discover this? Makes me wonder what other secrets lie in Hyrule, I wonder if it's in the Gamecube version too, since I have an action reply, I'd love to see those things for myself ^^.
That is just....dynamite-rad. o_o Zelda=rock, StarFox=roll. Together= Rock and roll!

That rocks my socks. Awesome, awesome!

Wow, that's pretty crazy. Wish I had a Game Shark. ;.;
"DO A BARREL ROLE!"
Not only is it misspelled and painfully fake, it includes a YTMND joke! CUTE.
I'm gonna put these codes in as soon as I can make my N64 work. *plugs in GameShark*
Quote:
Some guys were messing around with Gameshark codes and they found one that let you change one of the characters in the Kokiri villiage to any object in the game. People started messing around with the values to see what they could find and, wouldn't you know it, there's an Arwing in the game.
It sounds so simple, and for such a popular game, it's surprising that it took so long to find it. But the greatest GameShark achievement is still the Citadel test level in GoldenEye!
WHOA.
I just got out my N64 and tried it first with my 1.1 cartridge, which didn't work for some reason, then with my Gold cartridge. I started a new game, then entered the codes, and I can verify that they do indeed work.
I entered the code before I got the slingshot of course, so the Arwing totally pwned me. .
I also fought Ganondorf in Kokiri village. It can only be described as an odd experience.
This, alone, makes me want to go and get myself an N64. What an awesome secret!
I hope the good old hackers can keep finding stuff in classic games, like this. It'll rekindle my gaming spark.
That's surreal, to say the least.
Man, Nintendo hid some bizarre things in Nintendo 64 games.
