so yeah i bought a new dreamcast from the sega-parts.com and was wondering what it is packaged with, its a year 2000 model, any help would be awsome.
A controller, RCA cables and AC cables. You know, the usual.
If it's brand spanking new, you might get a demo disc with it. Otherwise, it'd be doubtful. You supply your own VMU, though.
Yea i'm not sure what comes with it, but I can tell you what you must buy for her. Virtual On Oratorio Tangram! Do it! I'm glad to see the DC still getting love. Personally, it's my favorite system. The Power Stones as well as many other fighters are good to have(Marvel vs. Capcom 1&2, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Soul Caliber, and Rival Schools if you are outside the US). I'll try and think of some other games too. Oh wait...Shenmue!

o yeah i already got games my old dc died so i had to replace it, the new one is factory sealed.
so it might come with a demo? what kind of a web browser did they package the 2000 2001 dcs with?
I think I got my dreamcast in 2000. On the cd it says AT&T
GET PSO! DO IT! While your at it, grab a codebreaker 3.0 so that you might acutally play online. (Unless you live in Europe, where I believe online is still acessible for free, but I'm not sure how long that will last).

i already have it and i tried getting on schthack serv but my internet has more than 20 hops so it doesent work, im gonna have to get a new isp. that or track down a bba.

does anyone know what games/game trailers are on the disc?
Mine had a demo of SA1, House of the Dead 2, some crappy fishing game, and Power Stone on it - if there was anything beyond that, I can't say as I remember it.
I think it had some boxing game also; there had to have been something else too, I just can't remember.

Of the arcade variety (eg: Time Crisis, Virtua Cop, Area 51... er, Duck Hunt, I guess), yes. Plenty of zombie-shooting and bad acting to go around.
