I've never seen a topic like this on here, but here it goes anyway. In a few days I shall be beating Blue Dragon and will therefore need a new game; however, I got so many games I want to play that I can't decide which to move onto. Should I go and get Mass Effect, get a Wii Points Card and download Super Metroid and than go play Metroid Fusion to wrap up the Metroid series, Halo, or what? If you got any other recommendations to play, they would be greatly appreciated just note I got a Wii, 360, PSP, and DS. If I could find a copy of Beyond Good and Evil, I would definitely get it.

Of the list, I personally strongly recommend Mass Effect if you like good RPG/Action games (I'm guessing by the inclusion of Blue Dragon and Halo that you do), and if you don't mind lots of talking. It really is a brilliant game, but is unfortunately let down a bit by the 360's hardware. If you have a good gaming PC, I hear the PC version runs a lot better and has an improved HUD.

Halo 3, I'd only recommend for the experience - the campaign was incredibly short and disappointing, and for some reason the multiplayer didn't have the same enjoyment factor as I got out of Halo 2. Which is odd since I seem to encounter less preteen annoyances. Probably because in their place I tend to get matched with people of immensely greater skill than me. Stupid matchmaking system.

Oh, and I thought Metroid Fusion was cool, but I'm not too big of a Metroid fan so I could be in the minority.

FYI, Beyond Good and Evil is on Steam for the low price of $9.99.

...It is? I can't find it.

EDIT: Oh wait, it's Ubisoft isn't it. Therefore US only.

Still can't work out the reasoning behind that one.

Hmmm...well Ray...i'd personally get a Wii Points Card. Check out some Wiiware/VC titles. But if you're in an RPG mode why not check out that FF: Chocobo's Dungeon or whatever for Wii. I've not heard anything about it though..so you might want to look it up first. lol But you know the Phantasy Star series is on the VC...like the first 3 or 4 I think. I'd check some of them out, honestly.

Mass Effect was a pretty awesome game. So I say get that. The Wii Points is cool too and if your really into Halo, then might as well, just yeah I didn't care much for 3, was a good game though.

I'll go with the people that recommended Mass Effect - I don't play many RPGs, I don't like scifi and space-opera genres, but I'm on my third playthrough right now. It's definately a game I'd highly reccomend.

On that note, I'm playing the PC version. It runs like a dream, even in window mode with other programs running. I heard the 360 version has cheaper graphics and less fun Mako scenes, but other than that, it's fine.

Thanks, what's even more amazing is that it's the GCN version which I heard was even rarer than the PS2 and Xbox versions; not only that I finally found the Thrustmaster wireless VC controller for the Wii so now I can play BG&E wirelessly and with rumble!!^_^

If you liked Blue Dragon, you'll probably like Eternal Sonata.

Yeah, I thought about getting that as well; you never know. However, I know I'll play BG&E after I get done with BD and then I'll probably go on to Mass Effect then Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. I may get ES after them if the new Sonic's aren't out by then.
