Look at the Animal Crossing leaf on the update. Also, I take back what I said, because apparently debates all over the net are popping up, having to do with the issue that an Animal Crossing character is indeed playable. I would think it was obvious, because there's never been a stage from a Nintendo game that doesn't have its respected character representing it. I'm personally sticking to my opinion that we are seeing an AC character on the roster.

Suddenly, the sound of disappointment coming from possibly thousands of Deoxys fans is heard 'round the world...
No. I'm quite happy with a LARGE portion of the 493 Pokemon staying as Pokeball summons only. The only Pokemon that are really needed in Brawl, are Pikachu, Jigglypuff (Although, could be replaced no problem, as feels too similar to Kirby) and Mewtwo. Anything else is just overkill.
Maybe, replace Jigglypuff with something like Blaziken, or one of the Hitmons. Something that feels more built to fighting.
It NEEDS Lucario, and Lucario's got the highest chance of being a playable character out of all other pokemon so far. Fact.
I've always been a fan of HyperBeam. That's gonna be quite the attack, going from the picture. Cool update.
People want Lucario because he is a furry and Deoxys because it has tentacles!
In other news... what the hell does that leaf icon have to do with there being an Animal Crossing character in the game? Those icons aren't used anymore, if you didn't notice.

It doesn't end the debate at all. What we were told was fairly obvious considering that it happened in the very first trailer we were given.
What I want to know if it's possible for ZSS to be selectable on a character screen without having to first go through Samus and use a final smash. That hasn't been confirmed nor denied.
Perhaps it'll be via a "hold *blahblah*" selection, like Shiek was.

So the characters are trophies again. The main bad guy looks interesting. He even looks weirder than Crazy Hand/ Master Hand.

Chances are the "bad guy" could be a lackey of someone or something bigger. From the way it looks, Apparently turning back into a trophy is similar to death. Mario and Kirby go at it, then Kirby loses the battle as the result. Mario, being the benevolent figure that he is, somehow brings Kirby back to life, resulting in "breaking those rules of the world".
What's also weird is that Meta Knight's ship rolls in as the clouds are turning red. And then that thing appears.
They did say it was going to have a far more in-depth 1p mode. Here's hoping the storyline roxxors some boxxors.

You should see GameFAQs and Smashboards debating over how the clouds form a hand of Bowser, or something like that. I do see what looks to be Bowser's face though.

...Why did Mexico get this interview before America, Europe, or Japan? Not trying to sound racist or anything, but it just seems way too unlikely that Sakurai would do an interview with a spanish magazine all of a sudden.
