Todays update announces that we will have bosses in the Subspace Emissary mode, and one of them will be (Surprise surprise), Petey Pirahna.

If there isn't a Metal Gear boss, I'll be very disappointed.

Obviously you'd save Zelda if you were smart[or a guy]. She's so much hotter than Peach. =D

...Obviously, you'll save both, because you'll replay it. :D

But yes, Zelda first time.

Wow...this engine is quite the impressive one, I see. Hope it aids in the gameplay experience. =]

... Great, another game that doesn't need realistic physics that uses havoc. Granted, it doesn't state what Havoc program it is, but I have a horrible feeling. but I'm weird like that. XD

I wouldn't worry at all Oo... It's not like Nintendo is going to screw with the franchise that basically SOLD the Gamecube.

Excuse my ignorance... but what's a Havok engine?

It is the same engine used in Halo 2, Crackdown, Dead Rising, BioShock, and some other games... Must be good?

A top-notch physics engine, basically. The only people who are complaining about it are those who still want their beloved wavedashing to return. However, the way I see it, this makes it even more badass. It was rumored a while back by EGM that the game was gonna use this, but everyone thought it was false, because from the way the old 2 trailers looked, the game was gonna have the same physics as the last 2 (which, of course, did not use Havok). This should be VERY interesting.

Sonic 06 used the Havok physics engine as well. 🙁

So because the engine was used for one bad game, it'll SSBB a bad game?

OTB's logic = PHAILURE

I think the frown was towards Sonic 06, as Brawl is never mentioned within that sentence.

Anyway, I think it might be a little interesting to see how the new physics act and everything. And I bet it'll be a stage update tomorrow. (just a hunch!)

Probably the same reason Pikachu knows Skull Bash, though it's not possible in the Pokemon games.

Or Jigglypuff using Rest all weird
Or Mewtwo using Disable not correctly

😛

Remember all the fun you had with the hang-glider in the Game Gear version of Sonic 2? You get all that again with Pit, Meta Knight and Charizard, as they have the ability to gliiiiiide.

Today, we got Diddy Kongs special moves. Looks like Diddy is this Smash Brothers version of Pichu, as it seems his specials have a habit of backfiring...

No they don't.

How is possiblity of getting a peanut for recover, a backfire?

As for his jump, how many other characters have third jumps that can do damage AFTER the said jumped has been attacked?

Well i'm assuming you get damage from the gun exploding[even if it is tiny bit] so that would be backfiring. As for your question...i'm not sure man.

(@sonicv2)

Think about it, the gun can recover as well so it 'cancels out' the backfire effect.

As for the Rocketbarrell, if Diddy is attack while using it, sure Diddy will hurt. But the rocketbarrel might crash on the attacker. Most other characters don't have recovering moves like that.

Also, who is dumb enough to hold down a standard long range attack that isn't Samus' charge shot or Mewtwo's Shadow Ball?

Yea it can recover if you get the peanut...if you don't though...or if a peanut doesn't appear. But yes the rocketbarrel "attack" would be sweet. But thats all up to chance, so still. But I assure you...people will charge up the peanut poppers beyond the recommended time. 😛
