Good god this is utterly awesome. I mean, if any other third party character was going to be in, it was going to be Sonic, but this is still utterly awesome.
I definitely anticipate the Green Hill Zone stage, too. It'd be criminal not to have it in.

News reports have been going around all morning of houses catching fire. Earthqaukes and tsunamis have swept the eastern lands. Tornadoes and hurricanes are destroying the western lands. Then someone got onlnie and noticed it was Sonic's being in Brawl fault. This game...has surpassed being a must have title. Obviously the gaming gods have blessed us.
Here's to hoping that Knuckles makes it as an assist trophy. Also, a stage oriented around one of Sonic's early 90s titles (say, Sonic CD or S3&K) would be flipping amazing.

Though I already said I was pleased with his design, it is a little iffy/goofy. Probably because he's smiling from the front, not the side. He could be a darker, brighter blue, too, but I'm happy with it. Live and Learn was very cool but skipping from the intro to halfway through the song was weird. Using the SA1 and S1/3 poses was funny.
Nice move doing this on the same day of the delay. I hope it doesn't domino the EU release too hard.

Looking at the video with Sonic's intro again, I've noticed that the Isle Delfino segment shows Wario running with the same choppy run as from an earlier trailer where Fox was introduced.

...This really surprise dyou guys? Wow. I don't even follow Brawl news (voluntarily, anyway, I get at least three @#$%ing people informing me of every last @#$%ing update. Hint, you three!) and I could have told you this a month or two ago.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, of course - far from it! Just not a surprise. I'd have been far moer surprised if Ninty and/or Sega didn't notice that every last person who's ever touched the internet in the past 17 years wanted it.

As many of you may have already heard, we have had to delay the launch of Super Smash Bros. Brawl by just a little bitit will now be launching on February 10th in the Americas. The forthcoming E for All event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center beginning October 18.
And it appears that this event will display the first ever public playable version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl! I am planning on having people play the gamebut with limited character selection.
The problem is Sonic. What to do... I suppose if were going to all this trouble, perhaps we should make him playable.
Oh, yes. And for those of you who come to play, please rememberyou tap the Control Stick to do Smash attacks.

It's a joke, it's nothing to be worried about. It just alludes that Sonic will probably be at least playable at the E for All event.
...Nintendo needs to print out demo disc for this game at least.
Oh and I found out that Little Mac will be an assist trophy--BOOOOOOOOURNS!
Though I will rarely use it, it's nice to see camera mode finally integrated into normal play. I figure the pink 4th option is Edit.

One of the few games I've been looking forward to for the wii this year and it gets pushed back! Oh well I guesse a few months is not too bad. I remember when Mass Effect was slated for Q1 of 2007 and now we get it in November, so it's absolutely not as bad as that. And yes the videos do look awesome!
