Today's update? The multi-man Melee mode returns... With Online co-op 
Is it just me, or is the US site updating last now?
Maybe it's the fact that it is the farthest continent on the Western-hemisphere. Just a thought. >.o
Never really cared about Multi-Man Meele, but the inclusion making the enemies more diverse makes it seem less repetitious.

Ugh. Not too excited about this update at all, I hated Pikmin.
lol, me either actually... but hey, it's the first new character since October 25th, so it is welcome... I figure we will see more of these each week, with Japan's release om the 24th coming up fast.
I'm not sure. They might stop now that they're evened out with twelve veterans and twelve newcomers, and let us find the rest ourselves. Meh. I dunno.
I never played Pikman, so I really don't care about Olimar either. XD But music's always good.
I...don't know what to say. I loaded up the site and had the window positioned so when it first came up all I could see was the Warning Challenger Approaching image. I stopped it there for about 30 seconds until I got the courage to scroll down. Once again, Brawl has left a "Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" on my face.
Funny how he is the guy that seems to always be on the right of the many fanmade brawl character selection screen and assuming he was put on those thinking he would be the least likely to be an actual character. (Brawler?)

I wasn't complaining about the lack of character updates as much as I was them releasing stuff from SSB/SSBM as "news"

A list I HAD written off because listed character Mega Man was confirmed to be unconfirmed.

I never said I hated the update. I just haven't played pikmin that's all.
I am in denial about that list. Wasn't it confirmed that Mr. Game & Watch wasn't coming back? (though I like the guy) Windwaker Link as Young Link is interesting and though Geno is popular I thought he would just be an assist trophy, I still think that. The Female Pkmn trainer (ie Blue (or Green out of Japan)) has no mention as a "alt costume" though that was just simple fan speculation. Ridley will be a Boss, not a playable character.
I still believe Pac-Man will get in before Megaman ever does. He has his own era, just like Ice Climbers and Nintendo has been chummy with Namco just like how they are with Sega. Don't fret, as fan appeal will be high and Megaman will be the main third party star of Smash Bros 4 (name pending).
Although I didn't believe the original leaked Sonic Riders list.

SamuraiPanda, the reliable translation guy at smashboards, has said that the scan of Zelda's moveset is unreadable. There's no such thing as a clean, controversy-free info leak these days.

I don't believe I can put much faith into any of these latest rumors and leaks yet. Some sites are probably just interpreting things as they want to for the sake of being the first to break the news. In essence, they're no different than the media spouting off the latest polls of who is leading in the American electoral primaries: too much speculation, not enough substance.

I've experienced enough clean leaks to be comfortable saying something ending in "these days," so I think so. I have seen the RUSH RUSH EXCLUSIVE attitude on one of the few Brawl fansites that actually deals with news, though, yeah.
Anyway, turns out it was garbage after all. Of all the character cards in the latest CoroCoro, Zelda's the only one with a special move missing...which just makes me think it's Twilight Sheik regardless. I think that if it was bad news they would have revealed it early on in order to get people over it fast, kinda like the Wii name change.
If that's the case, though, then why keep it under wraps in the first place? Does a Sheik redesign and/or separation from Zelda really warrant all this mystery?
I'm so glad that we'll finally know everything in two weeks.

That's odd. Surely the translation would be complete by now, even if only two people were working on it from the start.
A month is nothing, though. Again, hopefully it won't domino the EU release too hard.
My guess would be something about the online stuff. That's the only delay I can think of, outside needing extra time for voices, but they all seem to be pretty much handled.
I'd be fine with a month... except Japan only received a one week delay =.

But yeah, a month's delay is trivial in the grand scheme of things. How long has this game supposed to have already existed...half a year or more? I can't be troubled to lament Japan getting the game before the West again, for I have no control over these affairs. As long as Nintendo delivers on its ultimate promise, that's enough for me.
