Real photo is real. The video's been edited. By someone. If it was Nintendo is debatable... It's not out of the question, considering that's the only thing that was edited and one of the stickers doesn't have anything under it still...
Smashboards have been busy as hell lately. I can't get in either.
The video is back to normal now. I think this was a hacked job. Maybe. It doesn't make sense to take the same video, put in some minute detail, and put it back up on the same page.

I uploaded these pictures back on January 15th. Roughly the very day the video was uploaded.
So, I'm supposed to believe the video originally lacked them, then had them there soon after, only to not have them again very soon after that? I mean, this news is only making the rounds NOW, see, so it's odd that somebody is purporting that they got these pictures very recently when I have week-old pictures showing nothing at all.
I'd like to believe, but at this point, color me a skeptic.
Unless there's evidence this whole hullabaloo started back on January 15th as well, or even earlier. In which case, it's all moot, innit?

It's definitely real. Ness, Lucario, AND Jigglypuff were confirmed via the updated video on wii.com. However, as mentioned, it was edited about a half hour ago. I was there on GameFAQs and Smashboards when it just happened.
Pressing pause will show them. They are there. Keep toggling with the pause/play button, and you'll see them.

Madness! I kinda hate how games are like...studied s closely and whatnot. I kinda wish they didn't release stuuf before it came out. I remember back in the PS, N64...even Dreamcast early PS2 era when I would never even think of looking for anything on a game. Just the release date...now it's like...knowing everything about a game before you even get it. Seems to take something out of it...for me atleast. =/

Now if you look at 4:20 to 4:21, you would know that the heads of Lucario, Ness, and Jigglypuff are there at the bottom, right hand corner.

Look at the two screenshots.
1. When did the PT where is hat sideways
2. On the second screenshot with the Claus sticker highlighted, it says PSI 8. Since when did PT or his Pokemon used PSI?

Look at the cell phone in the upper right part of the trophy. It's higlighted with a red outline. Which probably means its currently selected. Also, at the bottom left hand corner it says, Resistance +4
Now look at the bottom of the screen and who do you see:
Kirby, Meta Knight, and Dedede. And it probably means that those three are the only ones who can use the cell phone sticker

The first one shows the GROUNDON sticker being selected. And the characters' heads at the bottom are Pikachu, the Trainer, Lucario, and Jigglypuff.
Now look at the second picture with CLAUS (the orange haired boy) being selected. The two who can use that sticker is Ness and Lucas.
How so, look at the bottom left hand corner of the photo. It says PSI +8. Does any other character in Brawl know PSI?

Last night, I was inclinded to believe Forte's guess of hacking... But using a clean computer that has never visited the japanese wii site and being able to see the images via the pause and play technique, I must say the are 99.9% true in my mind.
Therefore, Ness, Jigglypuff, and Lucario are confirmed. It looks like Pichu will not be returning. Also it appears there will be no further Sonic characters.
Slightly obvious that they'd be included, anyway. Lucario's proven to be immensely popular to Pokemon fans enough to have a film dedicated to him and as a fighting type had plenty of potential to be included.
Jigglypuff and Ness have already been in a Smash game so their inclusion was somewhat expected. Ness is more of a surprise since people assumed Lucas would replace him but I can't see the point of not having Ness still in as he's characteristic of Mother 1+2 and as the Mother rep for Smash 64 and Melee.
Does anyone have ANY decent reason why Jigglypuff wouldn't be in?
No further Sonic characters was obvious. Why would they add another 3rd party character from the same franchise as Sonic when, considering how limited 3rd party characters will be, they could be a bit more diverse and go with another character from another company (i.e. Pacman)?
lol, also Sonic is failing (no not falling, failing) in popularity in Japan... Riders 2 failed to push more than 2000 copies it's first day 😯

My questions are who are Purine and Luke Rio from PKMN... who is KURURU in DK (seems to be a character in a magna series Oo)... Takamaru is a character from a DiskSystem game... that was never a commercial success. Doesn't seem to make sense Oo.

purin = jiggly, ruk = lucario, yeah. takamaru was on the poll on the old dojo and sakurai has supposedly expressed interest in reviving him from retro. unfortunately, that list is entirely possible{@#%$ you, bowser jr}. take a look at this, though. seems likely, what with the vertical alignment. if it's the real deal, i'll be miffed with no geno, isaac or ridley while starfox gets wolf and rob.
