I had Pit and knocked Kirby off... and made it to the championship round lol...

My Wii is at college, but I was able to get the game. And in line I had to listen to some kid talk about Earthbound being compared to Revelations, dubbed anime being made of suck, argue the correct pronounciation of Ryu, and every other cliche uber-nerd argument conceivable under the sun. What a hilariously torturous experience.

EDIT: Oh, and whenever someone unlocks sonic tell me how he plays. I'm kind of curious. I'll probably still play him if you guys say he's bad... since I've seen some videos of sonic winning after people saying he's a bad character. I'll just practice and practice and practice until I'm competent. But still, tell me how playing him is like, OK?
I picked the game up about an hour ago. I have some stuff to do before I play, but I'll let you guys know how I like it.
Btw if anyone is having trouble with their copy of Brawl you need to clean the lens so that it can play correctly.
What I have gathered from the internet:
1. A huge snowstorm hit some states and it is a big deal because they can't get Brawl
2. The Brawl CD itself is a special disc that older Wiis (apparently "only American ones") can't play it, causing trouble for people who bought it and can't even play it

The game is pressed on a Dual Layer DVD. Though I suppose, for a Wii game, that is pretty special. Also, non-working Brawls isn't a new phenomenon or a region exlusive one, the Japanese had their fair share of trouble with the discs themselves.
Dust is everyone's problem.

Wow. This game rocks. Like madness. So far i've gotten Marth, Ness, Capt. Falcon and Luigi. Haven't even touched SE. Ness challenged me after a Versus free for all brawl. We were shocked. =P Kinda like the Mewtwo thing from SSBM I suppose. Fox is ultra light, but unbelieveable agile. My gosh. Loving this game so far.
quick note: if you're missing spectator mode or the options button in wifi, the only known solution is to delete your save data
