What. WHAT.

Holy CRAP what? What strange world did I wake up in where my two favorite DS franchises are being combined???

Add it to the list of reasons I'm getting a 3DS

If I ever needed a reason to play the Ace Attorney games, it is NOW.

In my case, the opposite is true. I've ignored the Layton games for far too long.

I'm in the same boat as Psx...

I'm excited for this more because Phoenix is a protagonist again than the fact that they're crossing over.

...I wonder what kind of story it is that brings these two together, though. One's a Defense attorney and the other's an archaeologist...

He's defending somebody accused of witchcraft against Layton. :3

Also: EPIC full length trailer!

Yes - there IS an objection scene! =D

So they're actually competing!?

That makes me happier than them working together for some reason.

I'm going to let so many "OBJECTION!"s fly like man you don't even know.

Wow.  Have to admit, for someone who hasn't played either series of games, I'm still getting chills off of this kind of crossover.

I met the guy who does the American voice for the Professor.  Heck, had a voice-acting class from him.  Cool guy.  Hope he gets to stay in that position.

Also, anyone else think crossovers in general are just darned cool?  Why can't Sega and Nintendo get it right and make the Mario and Sonic crossover that's been begging to happen since Sega stopped making their own consoles?

I wonder how this is going to break down: part of the time with Luke and Layton and part of the time with Phoenix and Maya, perhaps? Either way, I'd like to hear Layton music for the investigative sections and Ace Attorney music for the courtroom sections. This score might be the most glorious thing to hear in a long time.

Layton encourages you to figure things out and sort of subtley plays with your stupidity and Phoenix encourages you to do everything for him and drools and stands around when you dont do anything ITS PERFECT

Are you talking about how Layton's going to treat Phoenix when you're playing as him and vice versa, Shifty?
