I actually havn't played the first. Is it worth buying or anything? This one looks pretty cool, just not sure on buying it though.
It's freaking hard, Abac. Like, DMC3 hard. Something about the combat in it is more satisfying to me than in DMC3, though - you feel more pressed to beat an opponent and it doesn't make you feel like you're causing a GODLIKE UTTER HELPLESS BEATDOWN FROM HELL and instead you feel like you're just outfighting and outsmarting them.

But I loved doing that in DMC 
The first one is crafted to perfection. Everything about it is just right. It's hard but not because the controls suck or the camera is wonky. the bosses are relentless but in a good way.
