I'm selling my nintendo gamecube and I need a good price for it, thing is I can't decide what price to throw on it. Heres what I have:

Platnium Nintendo Gamecube
1 memory card
2 controllers
16 games
Gamboy player with start-up disc
All wires and connections
Almost a year old. (Most games were bought in spring.)

My price --- $250 first time then $200 the last time I put it up.

Reason: I want to focus on my nintendo DS and also put some of the money towards wii.

NOTE: Most games I have were over $45 and some of them are still that price in the stores each.

Buy price = sell price, of course!

Also guys note this is Canadian dollars so it's actually like $10 US (Hey! A currency US people can make fun of! YAY!)

Tussy sell the thing as a set on eBay for a very very overpriced tag and someone will buy it, you know.

Oh I know, the problem is I don't have a credit card so I can't verify it on ebay therefore I can't sell anything on ebay, but I am going to head into town and sign up for a credit card soon.

You do know that you need to be 18 and have a bank account to have a credit card, right?

And that to have a bank account you need money?

I setup one with like 20 bucks before. Only costs like 5. Bank of America pretty much hands you a CC with your new account, crappy interest but it's a card. Why Visa will hand me 0% for a year and 8.9% on a 5k card but BoA's 12.9%... I'll never know.

Yeah I meant to say bank account instead of credit card. But anyways I went down and signed up for a new bank acount.

And I put in the merchant today for a lol $300, so if it doesn't sell at that I'll lower it to $250 and that's as far as I am lowering it.

Bank of America and I are now mortal enemies. Washington Mutual at least doesn't charge me $3 a month for having an account. BoA also has bad customer service and will sign you up for a credit card even when you repeatedly ask them not to do it ever. God help you if you're forced to call their 1-800 line.

Rico, call BoA and ask them to lower your interest rate. Assuming that you have good history of making payments on time and have had the account for awhile they should be able to lower the rate. I've personally had it done with enough "May I speak to your supervisor?" talk. If not you can totally transfer that balance to a 0% APR for the first 6 months or whatever card and save cash.

I repeat that I hate BoA and I want all of you to work against them and do my bidding to bring them down.

If you did things the "donald trump" way none of this would have happened :"> |

Dude, you got it all wrong. Don't sell the Gamecube for cash. Threaten to choke an orphan with it, and if the orphanage doesn't give you ten dollars, you'll set off a bomb in the Gamecube that turns everyone into artichokes.
Assuming you're at this point where everyone's an artichoke and your Gamecube is exploded, let rabbits loose into the room and watch the artichoke orphans run away in terror.
It's good stuff.

Schnip, I think that TUS here is looking for serious suggestions to get the most money out of his GameCube. Suggesting that he perform acts of violence with it, and make threats that aren't even possible with GameCube technology (maybe the Wii can turn people into artichokes, but the GameCube isn't quite that advanced yet), is what we like to call "bad spam."

Yes I know you were joking, but that doesn't make it any better spam.

TUS, have you tried posting up flyers advertising your gear? I'd suggest local college campuses, they often have bulletin boards for buying/selling things and there are often college students who are going to be silly enough to buy video games - if you make it convenient enough for them that they don't go to the store and get a brand new one.

Schnipp's post is fine, it's the topic's forum that was unwisely chosen. I can't decide wether to put it in MFC or the Trading Center since I didn't bother to find out if he's asking for advice or is trying to market.

EDIT I CHOOSE SOMETHING COMPELTELY DIFFERENT
