The graphics look nice and all, but that trailer offers a whole lot less than the first one did.
My sentiments haven't really changed in regards to the game.

Looks more like a Brazil-ish place to me and the original trailer makes it look like they're running zombies.
I hate running zombies. Not because they're evil and hard, but because I hate the mere idea that a creature being able to run is impressive.

After seeing the trailer again, I caught sight of the logo on the vest. It's not a S.T.A.R.S. logo, which I thought it was. Instead, it happened to spell out "OSAA".
I guess we can assume that this is definitely Africa, and not some country in South America.

28 Days Later was pathetic. Running zombies are just stupid. As stumbling corpses, they were freaky frankenstein monsters with blood hunger.
As running things, they're just cannibals with skin disease. They're not monsters anymore and have no personality as a creature.
The fact that they're slow isn't a gameplay thing, it's a mood thing. Imagine the shrink-wrapped burned bodies in Silent Hill running? Boring and crap. Now imagine them as they are slowly dancing forward their body swaying forward all freaky like.
Same thing with zombies. I'll miss the zombie shuffle noise. Now they're just ugly humans.
It's not as if zombies have any powers besides "never stay down" and eternal bloodlust.
28 Days Later had no zombies.
Neither did Resident Evil 4... right guys, right? =P So, these new guys probably aren't zombies either.

agreed, the whole slowness factor really makes the horror element for them. sure they aren't a big deal when it's just one of them, but what happens when you're entering a dark room and BAM! there's one and you didn't even know it.
also, it gets you on-edge for when you're surrounded in RE4
Another Resident Evil game, more confusion surronding the mythos that will really never be revealed. It's almost a definate that Mr. Albert Wesker will pop up somewhere in this game!

The non-zombies in RE4 ran, yet you're supporting them, yet agreeing with Craig that running zombies suck? Who's side are you on?
well they ran and then they didn't run. i mean when they surround you, it's not like they run. they run to get closer but as soon as they get close they start the zombie walk.

come to think of it, that's really a bad example due to the fact that they leap on you. but i think that it's a good mix of how zombies should be. if anything they could be a little slower i suppose.

Didn't Rebecca die? I like Rebecca so I'd hope it is her in the new game (RE:Zero being my fave), but I recall hearing she died. I just haven't played the original RE since PSX, and I never finsihed it cause I hated it (didn't get into RE until the sequel).
It's good to know it's Chris though. I never liked Leon Kennedy and his weirdo hair style that only japanese would think is cool. With Chris it's where RE should begin and end.

It's too predictable for it to be any of the other RE ladies, because of their direct ties to Chris. The only thing we have to go on is that she's "someone whom fans of the series will recognize" and that she's involved deeply with the plot of the game. Had Ada not been used last game I would have considered her the role (I'd like to see that trailer for confirmation's sake).
Well, if it follows somewhat in RE4's footsteps the game should be pretty good, perhaps even without Mikami on board.

Oh. Hey umm anyone has RE4 remake for Wii? Is it worth me buying for the Ada Missions(or are they carbon copies of the Assigment Ada in RE4?}? Cause I will, I just wanna know. I'm so content with my Infinite Rocket Launcher...
RE4 wii is awesome. The content is the same as the PS2 version's with wii controls. If you played Seperate Ways on the PS2 version then there's no real new content on the Wii version to trudge through. If you only played the GC version than you might want to buy it.
That said, this IS RE4. Buy it anyway

You know, they said before that the new enemies have no ties to the Ganados and Las Plagas... so why does this look so familiar?
Enemies didn't look too impressive. Sure, the parasite bursting through their mouths was kinda cool, but for the most part they look like the same as RE4's ganados, which is kind of dissapointing.
Still, Chris's falcon punches are beyond awesome and the female lead looks great too, but she's no Jill. =(
I'm gonna remain fairly optimistic. RE4 was a fantastic game but imo not a good Resident Evil game, and seeing as RE5 sees set to continue in the tradition of RE4, I think I'll love the game but also be a bit dissapointed that it's not quite like the RE I prefer.
