I'm a bit annoyed at this, myself. I don't mind too much (I never really played the original but I would have at least downloaded the demo), but it might mean to no other Rare N64 games could make it to the XBLA. Which isn't news I'm happy with; I wanted Banjo Kazooie :<
Wow. That's pretty lame. GoldenEye is like one of the most sought after games to be rereleased this generation. Hmm...as for Banjo Kazooie...you're probably getting Banjo Kazooie 3 so hush your mouth. XP
Ah that sucks. Oh well though, I still have it for my 64. If I ever felt like playing it, I'd just pull that ol thing out.
If M$/ RARE were smart they would release them on both the VC and on XBLA... Release the originals on VC, and add some updated features to the XBLA versions, like online multi for GoldenEye... Hell, for all I care, sell BK 1 & 2 for a buck or 2 less on XBLA. It is win win. 360 are almost guaranteed to buy it throw XBLA, but Wii owners don't get screw out of the deal... and Rare makes more $$$ than a single release.
Crap. That would've owned.
Oh well, there's still hope for it being on the Virtual Console. With no online multiplayer, more than likely.
