Flicking the controller to jump?! Genius </sarcasm>
I move to make this the Sega Road to E3 Pootactular thread.
Why Sega. Why a Jump. Why not Sticky Ball mode so you can never fall off?
Because too many people would play with their sticky balls.
Anyways, never been a fan of the Super Monkey Ball, but if the level tilt is controlled by tilting the controller, then you'd just have problems whenever you flicked it up.
There we go! A SEGA game for the Rev! X3
LOL Pat L just got Owned hardcore by SEGA.
He is going to be so PISSED! This is seriously going to make my day...

Can't be any worse than that Monkey Ball Adventures nonsense...
...assuming that this announced game is actually made by AV and isn't a crappy spin-off title.
You forget that Super Monkey Ball Adventure is made by... Travellers Tales. Makers of Lego Star Wars. And Sonic 3D.
Anyway. I think that SMBA looks alright. Even if it is a bit Billy Hatcher-y. Replace Eggs with Balls.
That sounds so painful.
No, I'm not pissed. I don't really care.
I'm not a real fan of Super Monkey Ball, I never have been. Hell! I've never played SMBDX for Xbox!
This doesn't mean nothing, Wow a new monkey ball title for Rev ,Wow! Big Deal, if you care. I know I don't.
I still believe SEGA is coming back to the home console market maybe not at E3 but there's still at TGS 2006, Like I said earlier they would probably return next year.

Funny, you were making SUCH a big deal over SEGA NOT supporting the Revolution, trying to crush any hopes and dreams of people who actually care, it would seem it pretty much proves almost EVERYTHING you've claimed so far to be false, and does nothing but provide further evidense that SEGA are NOT returning to the home console market.
LOL, Pat L, you've spent the last four months ranting and raving about how SEGA's lack of titles for the Revolution proved conclusively beyond all doubt that SEGA is returning to the console market, and if you say this news, which proves every argument you have made concerning the Lindbergh being made into a home console null and void, does not cause you concern in any way, then you're a liar as well as a blind fanboy.
So, In short:
SEGA= Not making a new console
The Revolution= Real
You= Wrongety wrong wrong WRONG.
Bye hun ^.~

Dear god. This statement is even worse than anything a Nintard can come up with. I'm willing to believe that you are a joke character and/or parody of a Sega fanboy in denial posting just so you can recieve any attention on this board. If only I had the power to personally give you an appropriate title.
Just answer me this question, Pat. Why the heck would Sega release games on all three next-gen consoles and puting their gaming legacy on their competitors VC systems if they supposedly re-entering the console race? It doesn't make sense, does it?
Can't wait 'til this November to further crush the Sega console delusion. C'mon Sony, make good on your worldwide release!

That's what I thought at first, but nobody would have the sheer persistence to keep up such a joke for this long.
Offtopic question: Are we talking about the game or the fact that this game will come out for the Revolution? If it's the former, this topic should go in South Island since the makers of Super Monkey Ball have merged with Sega (like UGA(*) and Sonic Team did before). If it's the latter, then it should stay here.
In topic response: Any pictures or videos so far about this game? Any other known sources confirming this game?
(*)UGA created such games as Sega Rally 2 Championship, Rez, and Space Channel 5 (both parts one and two).
I dont know any more.
I think its more Sega announces a game for the Wii more than anything.
Also
Sega have announced a snooker game. Oh yes. It doesn't deserve to be linked but we are now sorted for snooker.

i swear to every demon in the nine levels of hell, if you start ranting again it will be considered spam and i will try my absolute hardest to get you warned.
ONTOPIC: i've only played supermonkeyball for the GC at a friend's house. Monkey Pool kicked so much ass.
I played Super Monkey Ball once. I didn't like it, really, but that was motly because of the control. I'll probably rent this.
Oh, and Pat L? Guess what. Exactly 27 days ago, there was an announcement: SEGA is seriously considering entering the console market, with a system that's more powerful than the PS2 and the 360, with bettersupport, and best of all, it's cheaper. This announcement was 27 days earlier than this post.
Sega announced a console release at March 31, 2006?
ONOZ I SUSPECT CHAOZ CONTROLZ AT WORKZ >_>
Ahem
Sega's Road To E3 Pootactular continues with Sega Rally Revo. For PC, Xbox 360, PSthree.
12 more days till E3. 12 more games. One of which must be Shadow 2. Oh heck yeah.
LOLZ.
Shadow the Hedgehog 2: Redemption, available for the SEGA Lindbergh home console system. Coming in the year two thousand and never.
Nonono. 27 days before is April 1st o.o
But you posted that remark on the 27th
27-27=0
Since there's no April 0th it was March 31st.
Some people just don't know math.
